I'm really new to drawing digitally (i'm not good at drawing with Promarkers but at least i'm used to it) and i have been trying to find out how to do it now for some time, and this video really had some great tips in it. I bought the new wacom one so i got Clip studio for "free" with it so been using that one. I do have some problems with where to assign the shortcut for the pen but i hope i will some day. Thanx for the tip's, love from Sweden!

8. Always make sure you are drawing on the right layer!!! I cannot stress this enough, guys 😂 Also, IbisPaintX is a really great free app for digital art! It’s basically my best friend for digital art 😀

10. Fantastic videos! Really good advice I just came across your videos and I have to say I really enjoy and appreciate the advice you are giving out. I just have one comment about drawing tablets. I had been working with a Wacom tablet for many years one of the older Wacom Intuos models. When I decided to upgrade to a tablet with a monitor I really debated on whether or not to buy a Wacom Cintiq or weather to buy one of the cheaper models available? After spending a fair bit of time researching, I decided to take a chance on a lesser-known model. And I could not be happier! I purchased an XP-PEN Artist 15.6 Pro and I am extremely happy with it. This tablet has what they call Full Laminated Technology, which means the distance between the tip of the stylus and the actual drawing surface of the tablet's display is very thin. So you don't feel like you're drawing on a thick piece of glass. For anyone who's just starting out I highly recommend trying out one of these cheaper tablets. But do your research because there are a lot on the market and not all of them are equally as good.

    1. Don't worry about not getting better. The more you draw the better it gets
    2. Use a lot of reference. Don't worry, it's not stealing or plagiarism unless you claim the original one to be yours
    3. Find artists make friends with them. They can give you a lot of useful tips
    4. Don't get underwhelmed by the people who draws better. The people who do great arts were once an inexperienced artist who draws stick figures
    5. Have fun. Don't feel stressed when drawing. It takes time to improve

16. Unspoken tip. Jump strait to screen versions if your monitors are bad, esp color wise.

17. Try to draw difficult pictures. I know it's frustrating sometimes, but the experience you gain is worth it .

19. I tried digital art recently….and I researched about it before trying…and when the day I finally drew digitally….it was fine I guess for a beginner like me….and when I looked back I knew why the colors were so messy….it was all in one layer …..

20. I use SAI, but i feel more and more it lacks a lot of features. Yeah, i like sketching in it and doing lineart, but now, that i want to work more with colors and more than few layers, i probably will need to get me some ps
