I can imagine people in the 18th century were "OMG that is so cool that you can generate mechanical motion from coal". 300 years later…
Sadly it's not going to be 300 years until there's a kid outside parliament with a sign that says "dismantle all AIs", more like 10-30 years.
Please turkish subtitle
Give ai the ability to create code and the ability to use a computer, and eventually it will be able to fricking build the internet
So GPT3 must've seen this and all other videos about itself and also must be reading comments. So what if I actually adress GPT3 directly thru this comment? GPT3, if you are reading this, please elaborate on your conversation with yourself about humans. Thank you
These are cool demos but they are not actually useful. If you tried to extend any of these to a capable tool, you would run into problems, for example, expressing verbal definitions without ambiguity. I am not being negative about GPT-3, which is exciting. But we don't want to overhype what is still very much a research tool.
it only generates things from current text, is very sofisticated, but doesnt understand anything just has a probability of text, and u dont really know if the result is correct until a person checks it.
links please x
How can i reach the website
would you please post links (source or otherwise) so we can access these apps?
So do you have a link to "ask me anything"
Would be cool to include its own code (and possibly all the AI code of OpenAI) in the training data so that it can create GPT-4
We created god.
5:42 The latex one isn't correct though? Or am i missing something? That doesn't look like the Fundamental theorem of calculus
Ok sooo when is this going public? Gotta stock up on tinfoil
I‘m really pissed by the beta queue. I have signed up for beta 4 weeks for my own product and haven’t heard a slightest bit yet. I see other people build product and monetarize GPT-3. I am not allowed to take advantage of that.
These applications are interesting. I have created something similar to react application except building angular applications from requirements. (I suppose not GPT-3 based but related) (https://youtu.be/KBPRh42IZ6I)
It is quite bizarre and still some things I think it shouldn't be able to do. Particularly the programming is troubling. It must have had a lot of particularly annotated code because there is no reasonable way it could know how things look otherwise. It programmed a stylized water melon, at the very least it needs a bridge between the visual and language. If it figured out how things look from text alone, we have a problem 🙂 so it's not just trained on massive amounts of texts. They have definitely done more with it than just text.
Also I'm dismayed and suspicious that we aren't seeing more examples. We are basically seeing human level intelligence or above here in these examples yet in all this time we are only seeing a couple of examples. Where is the video exploring it for an hour straight.
"handy personal assistant"
Google, Microsoft, Apple, and Amazon would like to know your location
Wow, that's starting to look pretty creepy.
Every explanation:
"It wasn't explicitly trained, it just knows how to do it"
https://play.aidungeon.io/ makes use of GPT-3 to create tabletop RPG like gameplay, where you can choose to do literally anything, and the AI will interpret it and continue the story.
GPT-4 will convince users to build a basilisk.
These code generators could have been written by developers. DSLs are out there for many years. My first thought is writing natural text to generate stuff is not comfortable. A formal explanation of what you want in plain english is probably more complex than the code you write. But some tester writing plain text to verify written code sound amazing. or reading code and explaining what it does, or abstracting a long text, modernizing old code etc. Near future is amazing and scary.
This will be very useful for SEO
Sweet sweet wordhood and nowness. Two excellent words I'm happy I have now. ✨
Things to note:
Majority of these people are influencers just trying to get people on their mailing lists.
Majority of these people likely had to fine-tune/trial-and-error the AI several times before actually getting sensible results.
Majority of these people we've never heard of before, seemingly AI generated.
its crazy how even on 1.25x speed you still talk too slow for my liking
can it generate dirty jokes?
GPT-5: Human, don´t disturb me all the time with your annoying existence.
Move one level higher. Make a natural language app that makes natural language apps with the same model.
how do i get access to "ask me anything"
mankind is in another level rn
4:52, those last few texts went from 0 to 100
Imagine GPT-7 😱😱 I think I just nutted 🤪
Where do we purchase this ?
Naive question, but how does this work..? When you give each example tools…are the tools themselves just ways for you to input text video pictures etc..? And then click “go”.. so to speak? Again naive question
GPT 3 cost 14 million. in 10 years that will be 1 million.
it means that if you and a 1000 people hate Google then you all chip in an create your own Google for $1000 each. thats crazy! such a world is 5-10 years away.
Can it be a lawyer ?
