The Royal Institution
We have run out of science to talk about, so we’re pivoting the channel to science ASMR.
We’re diving into the world of ASMR with dry ice, liquid nitrogen, a Hero’s steam engine and much more. What is the Leidenfrost effect? How does dry ice turn directly into carbon dioxide gas? Sit back, put your headphones on and lose yourself to the relaxing sounds of science.

Bubbles!
Was only going to watch the first couple of minutes as a joke, but ended up enjoying the whole thing. Very relaxing; would actually quite like to see more like it.
I know this is an April fools thing, but seriously please do more of this!!!
This ASMR stuff is so freaking weird
I don't think I have ever understood or appreciated ASMR until listening to this video
i like silent type videos but please place 2 mics to have stereo effect next time. not asmr'ish otherwise.
What is ASMR please?
Well, this was fun 😊
actually guys this video worked well.. the sounds of science would be a good name for a side channel project. 😁👍
jokes on you Royal Institute… this was actually great
id gladly watch a 2hr whispered lecture about entropy or nature of reality with the professor speaking right into those weird stereo ear shaped asmr microphones. cmon that would work… or creep people out but it could work.
I know you meant this as a joke, but it was really well done. Both visual and audio. Some good science knowledge too. I would love to see more videos like this in the future.
you have not run out. you have not even started. your current belief, better known as standard model of space and particle matter is over 90 % wrong and none of you care. you have turned science into a new religion full of dogmas. preachers and cathedrals called universities. where you indoctrinate and certify student to preach your dogmas. instead of science. Ferydoon Shirasi. MG1
They finished all the science
April Fools or no, I hope ASMRi is a common thing going forward
The Arctic, right in front of your eyes
You should seriosuly consider making this a series.
I love ASMR and this was great. Are scientists the best ASMRtists? More research needed…
I loved the video 🙂
Can't say I learned anything I didn't know yet, but the execution was marvelous!
This was fun and enlightening. Thank you RI.
I love it ✌️
How does the spoon vibrating on a block of dry ice works?
I think you're on to something.
Love this! Would definitely recommend making more.
NICE April Fool's Day joke of my favorite YouTube channel! 😀
You have not run out of science. You can focus on basis science, what I mean is really basic like Newtonian mechanics, basic optics, concepts of electricity and magnetism etc. You do a very great work but for many the topic appear fancy and intersting but not all understand those things. If you can focus on really basic science it will be a great step for many to learn and understand. Thank you.
Lovely imagery. Love to seen these on my big screen TV.
The Zombie Flame was perfect
And the Hero's Steam engine too…
OMG This is soo good..
ASMRi should be trademarked. Very nicely done.
Thank you Royal Institute of Science. That was indeed very relaxing 🙂
This is a dream come true
Honestly, I could totally get on-board with this. In a second channel, of-course…
Moarrr!! 🤗
Until now, i didn't know this is the content my brain needs sometimes.
Pleeaaase do more of them.
prettyplease 🥺
Awesome !
I love this! 😄
