Hey Andy. Im doing my MA at the moment and I rejoice every time you upload. Only problem is Ive signed up for about 3 paid softwares you suggested 😂 but your videos are really helpful and have helped me streamline a lot of the academic processes. Thanks for helping me be more productive and free up my time for other tasks
We need an OFFLINED program that will scan all my THOUSANDS of
PDF's, Docs, txt, source code, data and allow me to query it.
Again OFFLINED.
I absolutely love Research Rabbit and Tinywow. The best part about them is that they are fully free, which is important when my stipend almost entirely goes to rent and food. Ya know, basic survival things.
great video. Finding papers to support information and citations takes huge among of time and is very frustrating. AI tools that helps to make it easier are great. Also visualization tools as litmaps. I tried scite but it seems to be focus on health research, i could not find many suggestion on my field. Also tools to proofreading writing for non natives english speaker also helps us a lot.
Hi Andy, love what you are doing. Just curious: how do you see Bard or Bing as tools for research?
Andy, I am looking to do a PhD in Church History. All your YouTube videos are inclined towards Science (I get that btw, you are after all a scientist) but can you recommend any AI tools that might help research into the humanities in general and history specifically?
Can you please give your email to contact you Dr. Andrew ?
Chatgpt 4 ❤ and game over
Hi Dr Andy. The work is great. Can you recommend a tool to have a dash board for a class of 20 students
Captain obvious – Google 🙂 You can search and find many scientific papers floating around. Try to correct these papers if they been wrong that even most intelligence AI can not perform.
In the end, I don't understand why you are learning Persian. Come, let me teach you. Artificial intelligence isn't necessary for it.😄
Kudos
Exactly the same set of tools and same workflow I use. The only other inclusion i have is Claude. It's much, much better at writing academic manuscripts, crafting arguments than GPT4. I'll definitely recommend giving it a try.
i'm changing my workflow every week
I strongly believe that students today are incredibly fortunate to have access to a wide range of tools that can make their lives easier. Seeing these tools in action often leaves me feeling a bit envious, as I can't help but imagine how much smoother my own academic journey would have been with the help of these resources.
Great channel and information. Thanks and Kudos!
Sir how to make best literature review with Al tools?
And introduction and research gap?
Plz sir make a video on it plz
Hey Andy, thanks for the nice videos. I really like them and also your optimism in new AI tech. Have you come across AI tools that could actually support the automatic extraction of factual information or equations from research papers? I tried Elicit, but it seems already to have problems to read this information from my pdf. I have often the problem, that valuable measurement data or modelling results (e.g. expressed as model equations) can only manually be extracted from papers. Another wish – if one could reengineer data points from figures, e.g. from a scatter plot. Thx a lot
Thanks for this video, so useful! I have a theme request, please… Could you explain us how obtain the OpenAI API, step by step? That has been so difficult to me, I want to use HeyGPT (I purchased it!) buy I didn't use the free tokens when I created my account and I can't understand how obtain the API! Please Andy, and thank you!
Great information
I tried Scite just after watching this and they are already charging. That was fast.
This is extremely useful – my goodness! Thank you Andy!
Would like to hear more about Text Blaze.
/thx
Are they not closing the free version of Elicit?
Thank you for this video! I added all these tools on my favorites bookmark list.
Thanks Andrew 👌🏽
New to this channel so I may have missed this in earlier videos but…. what could I use to upload my stored pdfs from other researchers (e.g. what I used for my lit review) and have an AI interface with them so I can re-find materials that I had previously referenced? I have so many pdfs and I'm doing my doctorate as a mature student – my brain just doesn't retain the info like it used to. In this video, you mention uploading your own research (I think it was into Elicit) – are there ethical problems with uploading the research papers I used for my lit review?
Hello sir are you looking for a profetional youtube thumbnail designer?
Hey Andy. Love your content!
Can you tell us more about how to install Quivr and all that? It didn't allow me to put my API :c Also, can you tell us more about your favorite pluggins for chatgpt?
Thanks and keep up the great work!
Great great great!!! I'm looking a consensus too, thoughts?
Amazing
Man this is so useful thank you so much. New subscriber here
He just said "boring" to Chatgpt. 😂😂❤
Hey Andy, can I speak with you directly, I need your help, I need access to Turnitin, can you be of assistance.
