1987, but it sounds so much older than that. Wonderful song, I wish more people heard it.
I love this song
Thank you so much for this. You've created a version I've been seeking. Great job.
Hopper is among my favorite painters, and Maureen McElheron has an awesome voice.
Maureen has more talent in her throat than 90% of the mediocrities trying to sing.
Your face is like a song
Your sweet eyes whisper
And I want to sing along
Your features are in tune
Let's sing together
And turn every month to June
Your face hums
Makes me a happy fella
No more singing a capella
No longer lonely
Lovin' you only
You lips with mine will rhyme
And when they touch me
It's a symphony divine
Your cheeks, you ears, your hair
Weave me a melody
Of melodies so rare
Your face hums
Makes me a happy fella
No more singing a capella
No longer lonely
The slowed down version of YOUR FACE is available on itunes.
It's included on the soundtrack to THE TUNE (Bill Plympton's animated feature)
When it ends you want it to keep going
I was used to the silly version by Bill Plympton, I really like this song, it is very pretty. :3
@hithr3000 yep, in fact, I repitched it.
@FronkieMc you don't have the slowed down version that plays along with the plymptoon short film it was written for, do you? just curious.
i've been looking for this song for years. thank you FronkieMc 🙂
