22. I've wondered how quantum mechanics plays into the operation of a biological brain vs the limited synthetic neural networks we have now. The exact timing of neurons firing essentially comes down to individual molecular reactions which involve quantum physics. It could mean that we end up making a decision one way or another based on quantum randomness, or that we made the decision both ways.

I wonder what Bohr would think about the role of knowledge and the conjoined twins who share a thalamic bridge and can observe items themselves AND see what the twin sees and feel what the twin feels. It is “spooky action” in reality. The twins are in Canada and doctors have done exams but I think physicists like yourself should be thinking about observations in THEIR world. Which twin’s observation control reality?

    I believe these twins’ existence, where they can both perceive information AND receive the twin’s info simultaneously, contradicts Wegner’s assertion of no such influencing phenomenon existing. Does anyone know if the twin’s brains have been written about from a physics standpoint?
