I think people will have to choose for themselves but these days with marriages here in America meaning almost nothing I can see how if it was advanced enough it would beat being alone or risking another disappointing soul shattering heartbreak.

It's a bit reductive to imagine that males are for work and females are for sex. We all work, we all have sex. I can assure you, there'll be a demand for male pleasure robots too. So maybe this video should have been about "pleasure robots", not "female pleasure robots". As for realism and good looks, Starpery make some really amazing-looking ( female ) dolls, much better than the creepy junk shown here. And you can bet in the future, male versions with a variety of sex parts that tap into an imaginative range such as those made by Bad Dragon, mainly aimed at female pleasure… add in GPT-like NSFW chat functionality from say, PygmalionAI, and yeah… horny humans everywhere shall rejoice.

I am in favor. Humans will still have friendships and families will just restructured. Women can benefit too. They can have the man of their dreams and won’t be bothered by the creepy men because they will have their artificial human companions.

I can't see these robots really taking off. For me the chase, the first date, the entire honeymoon phase, meeting her family, and friends is all fun and part of process. To just go buy a robot doesn't sound to great to me.
