Exciting!!!
Awesome thanks for sharing! I think this channel would get a lot more views if you had someone else do the verbal reading and you focused on content and production. The lilt and pace of the verbal readings are quite distracting IMHO
I'm still waiting for you to admit that you're an ChatCaroliFahreem (an AI) yourself.
Beautiful.
Anyone pointed out yet that the voiceover for this video is AI-made too?
Its coding ability, in addition to potentially taking my job, is also a huge Pandora's box if self-improvement capability. Like, can a jailbroken instance write an app which would give it the ability to have long term memory, internal monologue, and planning? Could it then be directed to send as many stamps as possible to a certain address through web requests? What would it do? And would you be able to stop it after a few weeks of doing that?
I swear, at this rate, we would have personal jarvis at home..
"It has never ever seen an image in its life". But it has. It has seen tons of TikZ images, SVG images, etc, with descriptions and steps to modify them. Not saying it's not impressive, but I don't buy the "it did something that's not in the training data" argument.
"They understand how to apply integration by parts in reality, and then it slips up when it needs to count up a few objects." Can confirm this is also what doing physics as a human is like
chatgpt can either use gpt-4 or 3.5
How can I use GPT to help me finish and illustrate each chapter?
Pleeeease keep talking about this paper!!!
This is all very interesting, but I think talking in this way about GPT-4 without acknowledging Microsoft and OpenAI's relationship is not very scholarly. Microsoft are going to rave about how good GPT-4 is because they have a financial interest in doing so. Not saying that there's not impressive work going on over at OpenAI, but responsible coverage of this would acknowledge that. Your channel is interesting for covering the latest in AI developments, but I worry it falls too much into the hype cycles. There's stuff to be hyped about, but we must remain critical still.
What a horrible AI voice over🙃
The training data had plenty of examples of coding of graphics.
I find your frequent voice changes very annoying. Why do you keep switching between your "dramatic" and "normal" voice in a split second, back and forth and back and forth? It doesn't make sense. Can you please try to maintain a consistent "normal" tone throughout your presentation? It would really make it much easier to listen to. Or are you using an AI generated voice? In which case… why? Just get a mic.
As a software engineer, I can't say that I am not scared to lose my job to this.
man i’m really trying to be excited about the future of AI, but with the way our global socioeconomic system is currently set up, i am quite nervous.
so so so so many people are going to suffer, as the speed of productivity shoots past the possibilities of their human contributions. and not until then maybe the problem will be solved.
but we can already see the future coming fast. why are we not preparing? it’s so foolish.
At this rate, I believe that somewhere between the equivalent of a GPT6 and GPT10 will be the first General AI
Where is Bard? 🙂 It is in the corner, full of shame.
"I am out of words!"
*Creates an entire wonderful YouTube video about what he thinks about this AI*.

why do you stop talking after every 2 words, it's annoying … now I need to mute the sound and read subtitle
Duuuude, you speak like a robot yourself. Be more human!! (if you are)
It seems humans can still useful in helping Chat-GPT count up to 100…
