Because it's always been a problem in society where ppl can do whatever they want, suicide bombers, sex trafficking, murder. It happens!! AI just amplifies the power, BUT it also amplifies benevolent actions, so weapon protections will also evolve. It's just life, everything evolves, it's always been and always will be just a race on who gets to who first. And it's important we keep the balance, because tipping even towards more government control taking away from the ppl evidently is also BAD.
