Every Sperm is Sacred scene, taken from Monty Python’s The Meaning of Life. Terry Jones picked this as part of his Top 10 Monty Python Movie Moments for Esquire Magazine –
“There were about 60 kids and, even though some of the dialogue in this scene was considered a bit racy at the time, the parents were all happy to have their children take part. We did have Michael say, ‘If only the Roman Catholic Church would let me wear a little rubber thing on the end of my sock,’ though, and we dubbed it later. It’s a long sequence, but I think it’s one of my favorite bits of Python.”

Pretty sure Florida just banned this video 😂
60 years later, the protestants won, the Catholics are effectively protestants and… no one is having kids
I had a teacher once who was saying "His mum was a protistant and his dad was a catholic, he then goes on to tell us his dad had 15 other sibling while his mum was a only child." 😬😱
This was one of those things I heard as a kid (13 counts as a kid) and repeated ad nauseam without having ANY idea what it meant. XD
Is that Ciaran Hinds at 2:40?

Some of this video was filmed at the end of my street when I lived in colne 😂 love the song to, im not catholic or church of England but still think it's hilarious 😂
Do you believe this movie could be made today?
You can't convince me that they didn't come up with this bit after binge-watching every Muppet movie to date. lol
What are Catholics thinking ? Having children you can't afford is unfair to the children and society. It's Insanity.
😂
2:33
It’s the chinese dragon at the end 👌
So many great smiles. You can see some children are brighter and more engaged than others.
This wouldn’t be no where near as funny if they didn’t go all out with the choreography, music, and practical effects.
Absolutely Mad, wonderful, obscene, and delightful.
This song gets a little repetitive at the end, so I had ChatGPT write more verses.
If you disrespect them
Waste them with delight
God will send a lightning bolt
In the dead of night.
If you let them perish,
In wastefulness and fun,
God will bring a blizzard,
Blocking out the sun.
Lmfao play this song at the next anti-abortion rally 😂🤪😛👍
…mit tiefster Dankbarkeit nehme ich diese Selbstlosigkeit zur Kenntnis, dass diese Eltern ihre eigenen Kinder für die medizinische Forschung zur Verfügung stellen…
I showed this to my mom, a devout Catholic, and she nearly pissed herself laughing when the little girl did her solo
As a former practicing Catholic, I can't stop laughing at this…
super!!!!!
Nobody expects the Spanish inquisition what is catholic!
Mel Brooks had to get this as inspiration for his “Spanish Inquisition” number on his History of the World Part 1! 🤣🤣🤣
The moment I sang this song at home, from a Catholic family, my father yelled at me too much hahaaha, made me love even more the Monty Python humor
Sinful. Foul. Offensive.
I loved every second of it.😂
RIP Terry Jones, author, director and hilarious actor. No one could play a woman or Mr. Creosote like you.
This is a happy song.

One of my favorite songs. 🤣
I bet God loves this song too. 😊
In closing, I'm Catholic and I'm damn proud of it. 😇
This is a brilliant take on why women have the right to make their own decisions about their bodies. No abortions? No masturbation and no viagra for you.
That Movie is still very funny! Whether the kids knew what they sang there?
Let the heathens spill theirs on the dusty ground…God shall make them pay for each sperm that can't be found! Unbelievable catholic dogma!
At the 3:00 mark, in the casket in back of the horse drawn hearse:
Is that Rik Mayall????
Only if familiar with fake-history, resets and orphan trains, one can understand how true this song really is.
Probably be thrown off a tall building if you had the nerve/nerves to say this in 2023
Everyone please rise for the National Anthem of the Papal States
They cut this video off before the punchline: "…So we're selling you all for scientific experiments."
I'm honored to have played on this song when it was recorded in Brittania Row studios, London!
instant dislike its blocked on discord
Wasn't like 90% of the budget used just for this number?
As a musical fan and former Catholic (I'm agnostic now), I really like this.
