Clever what you did there, editing the title since 1.20 didn’t add any new redstone
Minecraft developers need to reevaluate how their "automation"/Redstone system works and make it more user friendly. Not just for understanding but practicability. Oxygen not included has a lot more stuff to calculate (not just blocks, but temp, pressure, weight, etc etc) and has a much better automation system. Granted it's not the same type of game. But for example, having to put 3 repeaters to create a 1 second delay is ridiculous. Maybe I'm missing something but in other games just out a gate and write the delay amount. The signal strength is a semi good system. I understand it could be implemented for other things but damn. I can argue that if you want to make semi complicated systems, the space it takes to do them is not worth the time. Plus, why can't the stone travel vertically as a line? This automation system sucks ass. Anyway, thanks for the tutorial! Definitely using this again to try and understand better. Maybe I'll change my mind then, but I doubt it.
This gives Redstone Engineers an idea about what are they/we are going to do next.
I used to use pressure plates and hide them under slabs, for 3 inputs to open my base. required items on 2 pressure plates in "hidden" area's then I could pull a lever and/or press a button to open the sticky pistons.
I know the that the hopper isn’t red stone but you should have had the detector rail
Honestly I never thought I would get redstone, but this is amazingly great at teaching redstone and I actually know how to redstone now. This vid is amazing
I wanna know how to use a big dripleaf why the fuck is it in redstone components
I rarely use redstone in anything other than potions.
I swore I use to be able to look in the F3 menu to find out what power level a block or redstone dust was it was a major part of building with comparators but now I can't find it anywhere in 1.20.1 did they remove it??
ty
Thanx king. I was having a lot of trouble understanding redstone. To the point where whenever I see redstone when caving or stripmining I would just leave it be. Btw u helped me get better at mining, even teaching me that there is different types of mining. Caving and strip. Keep making great vids and building minecraft pros😅🤜
My brain hurts
A little late but something important about redstone repeaters is they turn to a "locked" state when powered from the side by another repeater. This allows for many different types of redstone gates including small memory cells.
If the piston extends for just 1 tick, it can leave the block behind
This guy has a tutorial for literally every question I have in Minecraft
Didn't mention repeater locking
Dude thanks for that im really bad at redstone……
I want to make a circuit that will activate a piston when the sun goes down, but then deactivate it a few seconds later. piston, repeaters, daylight sensor, seems like it should be possible, but I am not sure how to do it.
Is there a second part with the hopper and sculk pieces by chance?
Clock as first example was way too advanced… Shoulda done like a light switch
