If you shut the funk up with your politics, like Dennett does, you yourself might actually have people coming forward to you as Dennett has admitting their religion was false. But as smug and smarmy and judgmental as you are, HAAAAAAAA, funk you, there's no way you will be able to contribute to science and understanding of a religious mindset, because those people will steer WELL THE FUNK AWAY FROM YOU, and rightly so. 15. Learning about all the different religions in school without being told that any one was true was what started me off on my journey of not being religious. Side by side the myths and stories of all the religions appears equally ridiculous and their competing claims could not all be true, so either one of them was true and the others were not, or none were true.
