Brody Dalle was the quintessential punk icon of the late 90s-early 2000s. She was especially popular with teenage girls who struggled to fit in or find music that really spoke to them. Many of my female friends who are in bands say she that was the first musician to inspire them to pursue music. New generations of young people are still discovering the distillers and I’ve even come across Brody Dalle make up tutorials online haha.
I was gonna title this “dismantle me: the tumultuous tale of Brody Dalle”,but that seemed a bit too grandiose a title for a ten min video I made on phone. ALSO PRETTY SURE I BEEN MISPRONOUNCING OUR QUEENS NAME FOR GOIN ON 2 DECADES oopsie!
