The events in the quantum world seem interrelated in mysterious ways. They defy the separateness of space and time. Events behave as multiple aspects of a larger whole to seemingly derive their definition and meaning from that whole.

Psychologists and neuroscientists infer that the constituents of the individual Self are partially-integrated systems of “Sub-Selves”. At the quantum level, the Self represents the essence of human consciousness: “Free Will”, or the Quantum Self.

Quantum Systems develop internal relationships after interacting, and these become a part of something new, which is larger than itself. The relationship between “you” and “me”, when it becomes “we”, is similar to the many Sub-Selves of one’s Self. Thus, after every interaction, the Quantum Self develops into a new version of itself.

The wave/particle duality of the quantum world becomes the primary mind/body relationship, in our reality, attempting to explain the mental and physical aspects of life. Undisturbing Observer explores the idea of measuring the wave/particle in its state of superposition. As opposed to the “Observer Effect”, an Undisturbing Observer could register the mind/body relationship without influencing it, effectively attaining absolute truth.

Quantum Self is the newest release by Greencross, including three original tracks and a remix by Alexander Kowalski.

Greencross has been a fan of quantum physics for almost a decade, and a techno producer since 2007. In Quantum Self, the Venezuelan-born artist presents the three tracks most adjacent to his human essence, recorded last year at his studio in the Austrian woods.

Alexander Kowalski gives Quantum Self a rare reinterpretation, where the Berlin-based producer steps into an unexplored dimension of his musical character to deliver an essential remix….
