Special theory of relativity is the first understanding before stepping into General Relativity. In this video, I have explained special relativity and length contract, time dilation and various other important concepts. I have started building the idea of the history of special relativity, the reason why we need special relativity and then went to the need for equations of transformation. I have discussed at length the importance of Galilean transformation. I have also explained Michelson Morley experiment which led Einstein to formulate the constancy of speed of light. Length contraction and time dilation also has been explained.
