I always like to research an item before I purchase it and I wasn’t able to get much out of YouTube at all. It was a blind decision to buy MyGenie (we had some points to use with Myer and I wanted to get a robotic mop so we thought why not try it out). Here is my honest review and rundown on the robot and app I’m hoping that it will help you and you won’t have to buy it without any knowledge about it!
Update: I just tried it on my in-laws floor, they have high gloss old school polished tiles (very slippery when wet) and Genie, was struggling a bit on it, mainly because he was slipping on them… so if you have those I wouldn’t recommend buying it.

Thanks for the demo Dorothy. Like yourself, I like to do my research first before committing. I wound up purchasing the MY GENIE XSONIC WIFI PRO ROBOTIC VACUUM CLEANER today. Got it for steal at $189!

I was unable to connect my genie to the app. The written instructions were in very bad English and next to useless. How many tries to connect the genie to the app?

I’m so not tech savvy. I’ve downloaded the app . Etc . How do I get the vacuum to do certain areas only .
Thank you all for comments haha I did not come here to check since I uploaded it. I have a little update which I’m not very happy about. I left pinoclean water sit in it for a while because I was away and something inside of it rusted. So you can not leave it wet for a prolonged time. I also seem to have a problem with the charging dock. Have to use the manual charger on the side since it broke. I suppose I could have called them and use the warranty.
