Hey everyone, want to play chords easily with just one finger? Here’s a tutorial showing you how to create some cool ideas using a little known object in Logic called the Chord Memorizer. This MIDI tool can help you build anything from new musical ideas (complex chords) to complex layered sounds with one finger easily!!

jaw-dropping… great job Adam… thank you…
do you have a link that deals with "copy" "paste" and other editing such as changing "volume" for a group of notes for uniform volume…
thank you, Manuel
Great information…..my production just got easier! Thanks Adam.
your welcome.
whats the apple aid button??!?!?!
THANKS MAN IT HELP ME ALOT
you go very fast but i get the picture cool functions…
excellent
can you save chord progressions as a patch, then reload them as and when you need instead of making the progressions again..thnx again
Cool tutorial but your music theory is terrible
when i reassign my track to chord memorizer and play no sound coming out at all anyone know what i might have done ha
?
where "apple 8" on my keyboard?
thanks very helpful
Thanks!
Dope….can't wait to do this 2night
Will this work for vst plug ins and arpeggios in a lot of today's dance music?
Brilliant vid! Very helpful.
Pro Tip: my chord memorizer was set to a really limited range by default, the effect of this was that the chords wouldn't transpose higher then c4. This can be amended to any range you need in the inspector.
Fuck me, when he says 'Apple-8' does he actually mean 'cmd-8'?
Or check out 'AutoTonic – MIDI Note Transposer' which goes even far beyond all that and uses the black keys of your keyboard as keyswitches, so you can load up custom scale scenes as you play.
After you assign the chords, can you save it? Or do you have to do this process everytime?
i don't find so friendly and easy
please what do you mean by "hit apple aid on the keyboard"? how do you make the window with chord memorizer appear? thank you very much for your answer 🙂
Super helpful. I have one problem now. Whenever I select another software instrument, it play that instrument and the piano. Any help is appreciated. For example, If I select a separate track, electric piano, etc. It plays the original piano AND the elec. piano. Do I need to move the trigger notes up higher/lower?
Now add a "humanizer" for velocity and you've got a very realistic sound
