15 minutes of relaxing science ASMR

The Royal Institution

We have run out of science to talk about, so we’re pivoting the channel to science ASMR.

We’re diving into the world of ASMR with dry ice, liquid nitrogen, a Hero’s steam engine and much more. What is the Leidenfrost effect? How does dry ice turn directly into carbon dioxide gas? Sit back, put your headphones on and lose yourself to the relaxing sounds of science.

  1. Was only going to watch the first couple of minutes as a joke, but ended up enjoying the whole thing. Very relaxing; would actually quite like to see more like it.

  2. id gladly watch a 2hr whispered lecture about entropy or nature of reality with the professor speaking right into those weird stereo ear shaped asmr microphones. cmon that would work… or creep people out but it could work.

  3. I know you meant this as a joke, but it was really well done. Both visual and audio. Some good science knowledge too. I would love to see more videos like this in the future.

  4. you have not run out. you have not even started. your current belief, better known as standard model of space and particle matter is over 90 % wrong and none of you care. you have turned science into a new religion full of dogmas. preachers and cathedrals called universities. where you indoctrinate and certify student to preach your dogmas. instead of science. Ferydoon Shirasi. MG1

  5. You have not run out of science. You can focus on basis science, what I mean is really basic like Newtonian mechanics, basic optics, concepts of electricity and magnetism etc. You do a very great work but for many the topic appear fancy and intersting but not all understand those things. If you can focus on really basic science it will be a great step for many to learn and understand. Thank you.
