I'm a longtime beginner, and I found your website when I searched for sketching prompts. Great list, thank you.
First – I was blown away when I saw you use a straight edge to help with hatching marks! Also – paper towel to prevent smudging. Both are such simple things, but I'd never considered them and can't wait to put them to use.
Second – why didn't you show the source material, ie, the flower in the vase? I think it would have been helpful to see the choices you were making about the perspectives you were putting into the drawing.
