Spot at Michelin | Boston Dynamics

Boston Dynamics

With Spot on the job, Michelin has generated more than 72 work orders. By delegating the mundane task of inspection, the reliability team can proactively plan and execute maintenance events. Baselines for equipment performance are set up using Orbit, , and work orders are generated when equipment runs out of specification.

  1. The Michelin factory is no longer spotless.
Sorry if that joke fell flat. The pressure to come up with something was too high. I was hoping this comment could get some traction, especially if I was on a roll, but it's understandable if you got tired of it.

  2. I don't even watch the videos anymore, you guys are like Apple always showing the same thing in a different way. What happened to that Boston D that brought a new innovation in every video?

  4. Spot seems to be doing a lot of walking, would it make sense to have some sort of cart that Spot can dock onto and get driving to a place?
    Maybe give Spot some wheels?

  5. This is the end of Boston Dynamics. What was once an exciting and innivative robotics company is now going to be just another boring manufacturing robotics company. Sad to see BD dying slowly.
