Can someone please tell me in a few sentences what exactly is Dr Dennett is talking about or what is he trying to communicate. I hear him picking or selecting things in existence and describing attributes of those things, then comparing them to what I consider inferior works of mankind, but to what end, and the connection, I don't get it. Very good documentary. I watched it in full (except for the comment section). I learned alot. First introduction to Dr. Dennett, but now I will be watching more of him and learning from him too.
DNA destroys Darwin. Species could not evolve into another completely new species. Darwin did not have the benefit of DNA and that is what kills his natural selection theory.
The richest plum was later to come when we took over publication of ALL school materials, through these vehicles we could mold public opinion to suit our own purposes. Evidently, Mr. Dennett is an extraordinary mind, but equally as evident, many atheists have got themselves lost in the rabbit warren of climate change and the government octopus, and by the time they shake off those back-fornicating monkeys, if they ever can, the world will indeed be quite a different place. Just as people doing silly, even evil things in the name of religion can diminish it's lustre, so too atheist's errors do not go unnoticed.

With you all the way until the economics. We didn't fight for democracy, we fought for capitalism. I sense that you understand that. It was communism vs capitalism, not communism vs democracy. We are capitalist and capitalism is corporate oligarchy, a 'new dark age' hierarchy, not democracy. I'd hate to point out that people believe in capitalism's virtue (the 'democratic' nature, the 'freedom' and the 'justice' of the capitalist system) because *capitalism itself is a religion*. Most people don't have any idea how capitalism works (its major structural crimes), but they believe in it anyway – because they were told to. That's religion.
Capitalism today impoverishes billions, killing an estimated 20 million innocent people (mostly children) by poverty alone, every single year. We are all ultimately enslaved to this monstrosity. And it's all for the ongoing power and profit of the super rich few we call 'capitalists'.
The truth might be disturbing, but it will, eventually, set us free.
the basic questions of theology itself such as "who are we?", "why are we here?", "what the fuck is this place?" and "what the fuck is going on?" are extremly simmilar to a scientific outlook and curiosity, I feel that Religion will slowly fade as a form of Theology toward certain forms of unity will grow, in short it sounds nuts but eventually Theology as the serious existential musing of existance (not religion which is a power structure based on authority of decrees which may cease) may be more coherently unified extremely close to science.
