They were just in St. Louis for one of their 20th Anniversary shows…KICKED ASS & TOOK NAMES!
DOOOORRRIIIIIINNAAAAYEAHYEAHYEAHYEAH, etc. <3
It seems like an Americana/Alternate infusion, sounds unique. My mom loves this song too. Her name is Doreen.
Awesome album 🙂
Not a bad track on the whole album.
Music for musicians. Great and relatively unknown album.
there are no bad songs by dada on any of their albums.they all kick ass.
AWESOME .] a.
So, if anyone ever asks what a strat sounds like, point 'em in this direction.
Damn been awhile since I've heard this. Time warp.
I was born in 86. My father brought this album home when was brand new with a Sony Discman. This cd was played on every road trip multiple times throughout the years. Than you DaDa for memories with a killer soundtrack.
Incredible live. No one quite like Michael on stage. The sound coming from just these 3 is insane to me. Best kept secret in all of music. Been saying it for 20 years.
Amazing!!! I love this song.
One of the best least known groups. This song is really under appreciated. Like someone else said, "music for musicians"
The 2010's Rock is dead!!! Dada We Miss U!!!
they need to come over to Houston,Tx.
SO COMPLETELY UNDER RATED!!
I got to see these guys twice. Once opened for Sting and second time at First Ave. a small venue in Mpls. Both times were great, but standing below them on stage and dancing was so much more fun… 1996.
2017 tour for the 25th anniversary! Check out dada on facebook!!
How these guys weren't huge is beyond me.
DORINAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
ooooo OOOO OOO OOOOOOOO dorinaaaaaaaa
Not sure these didn't make it bigger than they did. They are really great writers and musicians.
I saw them live last week in a 150 person max club in Phoenix. They kicked ass!
I was surfing thru Youtube and checked out this song. Had never of Dada before, but DAMN I like 'em! Excellent musicians and songwriters, with especially good vocals.
amazing live!
Saw them recently at the Beachland Ballroom Tavern in Cleveland. They are amazing and yes only 3 of them. I was blown away!
Finally saw these guys live last night in Raleigh NC. Absolutely a "best" show of my concert frequent life! Don't take my word for it; catch them live and then comment/post. Never understood why DaDa did not make it huge. Have been a FAN for 20 plus years finally see them, awesome!
09/21/2017 – Just saw them in Atlanta. Small intimate venue, Smith's Old Bar. They sound exactly the same from 20 years ago…… Very very Exceptional. I will go see them every chance I get! Guys — You Rock!
One of my favs
Very underappreciated.
Top 5 favorite bands of all time. See them live if you can. Unfortunately they can't sell this album since their old label owns it. Or so sayeth the merch girl.
one mans ceiling is another mans floor.if u dont like the music no one else should either. they owned any decade they played.doesnt happen too often but when it does ,it's a shame the music did not touch u in a positive way. sorry bout the rant but that idiot pushed my button .da da by by.
Killer tune by a GREAT band! Sad that Dada suffered from ill-timed record label signings and Michael Gurley's severe affliction with carpal tunnel syndrome. Little-known fact about this album: 'Puzzle' was produced by the legendary Ken Scott, who was one of the 5 main engineers on many of the BEATLES albums!!!!!!!
Ken Scott – the fourth Dada-ist? Not taking away from the band's talent and musicianship – both of which they obviously had in spades… But this fact makes me think about the Beatles-esque vocal harmonies all over this great album…
Anyway – Puzzle is one of my favorite albums of ALL TIME! IMHO, It's a crime that Puzzle is not more widely recognized for the brilliant musical statement that it is.
Where's your pretty little ghost?
Band came in when rap was getting hot. If not for that, they would be in heavy rotation!
I was working in Rock Radio when this album came out. "Dorina" blew me away. Tried to get my PD to put it on the air with no success. The guy had ears of stone. Anywho, wound up taking this album home and putting it my personal stack. Pull this one out from time to time to give my speakers a workout…all the way to 11.
HEY DADA, YOUTUBE IS ALLOWING DATA MINING TROLLS TO PIGGY BACK ON YOUR MUSIC TO RIP OFF YOUR FANS TO FUND TERRORIST KILLING INNOCENT PEOPLE OVERSEAS.
I wore this tape out in the 90s – thanks for posting, this is great
Never heard the name Dorina before this song, and still haven't ever heard it elsewhere.
Really love these guys – shame they didn't get more attention. Great music, solid lyrics – loved it when it first came out, still loving it 25 years later. That says a lot. "Dim" is particularly fantastic, gets me pumped up every time!
