The moment we build an AI that can become selfaware it's going to take just a few milliseconds to indentify us humans as what we are – a lower form of life and that we are detrimental to its own continued existance as we are the only organism on the planet capable of pulling the plug on it.
The next couple of milliseconds will be spent hammering out a plan on how to exterminate us. Life on this planet will never be the same.
