scienceandnonduality
In this fascinating interview Federico Faggin, designer of the first commercial microprocessor and pioneer in the movement to base mathematical theory on consciousness, urges science to embrace consciousness to explain the weirdness of quantum physics, and use it as the instrument of scientific investigation. “There need no longer be a duality between mind and matter,” he says. “With consciousness you can reach reality from the inside.” He makes a startling suggestion – that matter is the ink with which consciousness writes its own self-knowing.

Can anyone explain to me why do we rule out the hidden variable theory, and instead take the probabilistic models as "literal"?
And then Anekantavada by Mahavira…
This is very nascent… Honestly i wold suggest him to learn Sankhya
Wow.. he should learn Indian philosophy specially Sankya and Advita…
Tu che metti la manina in giù a questo video…. Non sai che senza quest'uomo non esisterebbe un mondo dove questo puoi farlo / You who put the little "topdown" hand to this video …. You don't know that without this man, ther's no this world where you can do it
24:15 'matter is like a mirror for consciousness to know itself' – He's getting a little carried away here. I accept the metaphor of the mirror, in many ways the physical world seems as if it is a 'refection' of something that exists not in the physical plane, but the idea that there is some kind of impetus for consciousness to 'know itself' is a stretch. Why would it want to do that? It does not need nor want to 'know itself'. It's not a 'co-evolution'. Matter is a response, an outcome of the phenomenon that includes the notion of consciousness.
Wonderful. (Some of these good ideas were already written about in my book, QUANTUM MIND.)
We live in a conscious universe. EVERYTHING is consciousness, but everything is not so aware. There are no "particles". Just because something can not respond does not mean it is not conscious. Stones are conscious, but with very little awareness. God is infinite universal consciousness, infinite knowledge, infinite Love. We channel that energy and that streaming is what we perceive as the passing of time. Big bang? seriously? you still think there was a big bang:) HAHAHAHAHAHAHA… absolutely ridiculous:) There's your first hurdle Faggin:) The universe had no beginning, that's crazy:)
Thanks for the video, but the music is totally unnecessary and is very distracting.
Tom Campbell, Rupert Sheldrake ,Dean Radin ,Amit Goswami, Cris Fields, Donald Hoffman and John Hegelin and Bruce Lipton. All these scientists and researchers have reached the same conclusions. How marvellous to be alive at this point in history, to witness a paradigm shift in our awareness.
Great explanations!<3
the questions are somewaht iterative..
I appreciate all of your videos. This channel is great. But one helpful suggestion: change the written interview questions to spoken ones, skip the music in between. I think many of us listen to your interviews, not watch them, so we miss the questions and it inhibits the meaning. Thank you for your consideration when making future interviews.
I was in a training with Federico and treasure his insights, kindness and presence
Non locality & Quantum Entanglement need's to be studied to the fullest degree!!
Mind and Mathematics are one in the same. That's where the mistake is it's still mathematical signals or waves we experience. If idealism is true it would have to be mathematical or the world would never be coherent enough to become conscious. The universe is made of unconscious mathematics that evolves to consciousness
