  1. A game like Fallout 4 could be so much better if get a little artistic, it doesn't matter how much we should wait, we prefer to see a nice piece of art than a 70% closer to concep art game, it's just logic.

  2. I love concept art and love when games really go the extra mile to include little details. It’s those little touches that really make things shine. So many games do it so well these days, it’s just delightful. I applaud them.

  4. Lighting mods are the first thing i look for when i get games, they just never look right out of the box, fallout 4 is worse than most though and even the mods peaple make aren't amazing sadly.

  5. One can pre-purchase at full price for a half done game; that you have to finish and compensate for with mods. I would have been happy to wait five extra years, if that's what it took, to make the world of FO picture perfect. Sadly what I got was a game that I have to fix quest bugs with console commands and debug mods, in a flatly designed cinematic and choppy animated world with terrible frame rates. Don't get me wrong I can run Witcher 3 on ultra settings for hours, while maintaining a steady 65 FPS, even during heavy combat… But FO4 havoc engine is obsolete, can't get a steady 60 even on lowest setting. With performance mods one could suffer it at a 50fps.

  7. always thought it was silly how the memory pods were not used more same in new vegas with the boomers flight sym ,they added games to play on your pipboy but missed out on so much story that could be told about so many things in the memory pods.

  8. I'm hoping that someday game development technology will advance to the point where in-depth worlds like that are possible while still maintaining the open world aspect. Maybe it will be by the time ES6 comes out given that is at least another 6 years away.

  9. I would rather have a smaller game with stuff like that than what we got. It was awesome the first time I played it. Then it felt boring immediately after. That huge skyscraper thing would’ve been awesome.

  10. Bethesda should quit "Project 76" But use the funds and idea of multiplayer and RE-do as close as possible concept idea Fallout 4/ New Game Engine ! Funny look at Mad Max Game- its same post-apocalyptic setting, massive game world, Graphics u can cum just by looking " and hey………..it came out same year as Fallout 4 😉 it better be delayed for few years than be a garbage

  11. I would totally want a more stylized Fallout 4, more true to the concept art. Where they should have compromised is by reducing or completely removing the settlement system.

  13. mama murphy on the mister handy wouldnt be that hard. essentially make a mr handy model with her on top, just extra animations. it could be one entity.

  14. 9:10 They can't do that, that would require programming, and effort! It's the same reason vehicles aren't in the game. (Since that concept is VERY similar to how a vehicle would work in a game like this.)

  15. Eh, I would have liked some of those concepts, they would have been really cool and given the game a different charm, but they just didn't do enough with character interaction and whatever for it to be worth it in any capacity, for the dev team OR the player.

  17. I think people don't understand that in almost all cases a game will greatly differ from the concept art due to various limitations. Making one cool still image is a whole lot easier than animating an entire scene, especially if you don't want you PC or console to blow up.
    The only game I have ever seen that was extremely close to concept art, in both regards of character design and the surroundings, was Bloodborne. And that was easier because the world is noticeably smaller.
