Kiret’s research lies at the intersection of AI and healthcare with a primary focus on neuroscience and neurotechnology, as well as active research areas in medical imaging and bioinformatics. Coming from a multidisciplinary background combining statistics, neuroscience, and biomedical engineering, Kiret is both a data scientist and an experimental scientist.
Kiret completed a B. Sc. with a double major in Statistics and Psychology at York University, and a PhD in Computational Engineering and Science on brain-computer interfacing at McMaster University
