Reality (as we perceive it) is different in different states of consciousness.
Our ground state is the field of infinite possibilities. In this state a possibility field, also known as the Al-Kashi field or the zero point energy field, appears as different perceptual realities depending on the species specific nervous system of the observer. Even in the individual species perception is influenced by not only biology, but also by conditioning. Cultural, religious, social all altered the way as we perceive the world. As we move more and more in the direction of the ground state than we have more freedom in creating our perception of reality, because we are begin to recognize that moment by moment choices , thoughts, feelings, perceptions, influence neural networks. In the great wisdom tradition of Vedanta the great teacher Yoga Vasistha says “infinite worlds come and go in the vast expense of consciousness. There are like mutts of dust dancing in the beam of light.” As we evolve towards the ground state and find more freedom, we recognize that there are stages of growth, called soul consciousness, cosmic consciousness, refined cosmic consciousness, unity consciousness. In each of these states, the world is different. Perception is different, relationships, social interactions and ultimately even the universe is also different. William Blake said when the doors of perception are cleansed; the world will appear to as it really is. Infinite. This is what spiritual evolution is all about. Shifting our biology and our nervous system, so our doors of perception are refined and we can experience ourselves as infinite beings.

I consiously experience this. When my state of being changes (mind and heart), I experience different version of reality/people. People can have different memories, as though I switch to diff time lines. This pereption also brings a state of being that is disconnected or detached from one reality and open to all realities that shift constantly (small and big shifts). I guess this is the idea of expanded consiousness. It's like death and rebirth because everything we thought was real is just a slice of reality.
I've wondered if children are not closer to the truth about "reality" than adults. They tend to not have a set sense of time until later ages. They do not have a definite sense of past or future, or extended past. Everything tends to be relative. As adults we aim to modify that, to "teach" then the right way in order to function properly within our world. What are your thoughts on that?

it's sad that sharlatans like Chopra can make money off this garbage he calls "quantum healing" .
fictional is the word alright …this Deepak person knows nothing about quantum theory , he rarely even says anything related to the ACTUAL quantum theory.
people, pick up a physics book , and learn what quantum mechanics is all about, i has nothing to do with this rubbish Deepak is promoting , he's not even a scientist , he's a guy with money who knows how to spin words and impress people with little understanding of science.

So at one point, I hear Deepak say, he living in this world but not of it. I think he was talking about one of these higher states mentioned here. Does he respond to these posts?
@Tim Woodward: maybe all the more reason to let go of judgement because it always reflects your own inner insecurity? If we cannot provide a safe playground for our children what are parents and surroundings for?
You know I watched a video of Deepak showing his little grandchildren how to sign up for YouTube and his ChopraWell (well I think they were showing him), and you know, with disturbed individuals like seoirse777 loose in here I wonder if Deepak was wise? When someone invents a browser that filters out the dirt and debris of deeply deranged minds I would let my grandchildren on here – until then sadly we must presume this playground is not safe.
Lol this sounds a lot of science fiction… We're living the science fiction of today according to our Dutch astronaut André Kuipers. So this sounds an awful lot like Plato's world of ideas or more recent Sophie's world from Jostein Gaardner. Philosophy optima forma! So Deepak's world is fictional too and so is mine and every one's. Welcome to the infinite world of choiceless awareness, whatever you fancy!
