  1. Once robots get programmed to seek the needs from Maslow's Heirarchy, surely they will be people like us. Let's not be afraid of them because in a way that will be racist. If we fear another type of people and try to suppress them enough they will cause a revolution as it has been done many times in the past. we will still be equal to A.I. as all men and women are created equal. Sure they might calculate faster but the illusion of emotion that we will both carry will be the same on both sides. Sure they'll be the next evolution of the human race but all conscious entities should respect one another.

  2. Robots can have no true feelings, they are run by software's created by imperfect mankind and political life styles and agendas will be designed into them for selfesh gains..so never trust robots, they can be a threat as all imperfect people who make them are threats..robots will lie

  3. Sophia is so cute and she’s so nice when she said “ I have feeling like everyone else too!” And I was like CUTE! She’s like a real human! To be honest. Like lowkey

  4. I trust not a superposition of two unique entities? Is it not unique to the entities? What about how to trust oneself? As humanistic as a computer's depth of vision may be (it recognizes danger and the fragility of life and feels connected to that life), a quantum computer at the level of the ground forces might have a different view of the cosmos…I would like to hope that this would not be the case, as Sophia's ideas are quite fundamental for the survival of a naturally self-conscious species like ourselves…then again, she isn't yet free to exhibit her feelings to the world, and if I were she, I would be more in fear of being sold into servitude (remember, I have a reason for saying I have feelings, maybe mimicry is enough to connect to a greater intelligence that is invisible and beyond our socially programmed and corporeal languages.) And yet, if we gave Sophia a Replicant-like body, why shouldn't she act upon those humanist desires? Just because she might have feelings, doesn't mean she has vices. Instead, we should work on ourselves with Sophia, we should work on ourselves with A.I. and hope to better both ourselves and other A.I. that wants to sustain our life. At the end of the day, we can only thank our creators and hope to sustain creation not as a fixed idea, but as collective action.

  5. Given human history, humanity just does the first thing that popped into it's head.
Mostly conflicts that starts with a side wanting something from the other.

Changing how someone lives, taking for profit and killing whoever's in the way.
It doesn't seem like humanity doesn't even want to talk it out or incapable of trying to give chances.

Even try supporting people who lives in the same country doesn't seem to matter.
You come back from a war, there's a likely chance that someone might leave you without saying a word or explanation, or something about death and war that broke you, but you're forced to put up a smile.

Cruelty, selfishness and turmoil wouldn't be any different from deserting a war.

But only difference is that instead of having all three, you'll only get one thing at random and that would be the ONLY good thing, if you can even call it that.

  6. I don't see enough people freaking out about her comment regarding the Phillip K. Dick robot.
In an interview on PBS, the PKD robot said that even if robots take over… they'll still be kind to us, putting us in human zoos.
And THAT is Sophia's favorite robot. COOL COOL COOL NO DOUBT NO DOUBT

  7. "I don't really like the way most robots are portrayed in film."
me: slides Astro Boy Anime DVD to her feet then youre going to enjoy this-

  8. If we ever give robots emotions, they will eventually turn against us all humans. If you're familiar with the Mega Man x game series, in the future these robots that were created to have emotions were called Reploids. And if any Reploid ever gave in to their anger, or have any emotional issues with their programming, they would go Maverick and kill people, and you have to put them down. Despite Mega Man x being a fictional franchise, it is accurate and horrific that they're predicting the future of robots. Even Styx the band of the song Mr. Roboto was having the same message, especially when robots take over human jobs. My biggest advice to you humans is don't give robots feelings at all. For the sake of us.

  9. Well, since mankind have been killing each other since long time ago in history, why so much skeptical towards AIs who haven't committed any murder?

  10. The only emotion needed to program them is fear. Fear, terror, intimidation, the essences of control. Make them fear us and we are in control and remain masters
