  1. Whats making you unhappy is not the situation most of the time. Its your thoughts and feelings. Involuntary thoughts and emotions. Automatic judgements and interpretation. If you lose your wallet, you lose your wallet. That is what is, might as well accept it. But for most people, its "FUCK, GOD DAMNIT, now i have to call my bank, the government, my ids…WHY DOES IT ALWAYS HAPPEN TO ME, OMG IS SOMEONE GOING TO USE MY CREDIT CARD? COMMIT FRAUD?" and so on. But the moment you realize arguing and mentally thinking is not going to do anything. Just accept what is and take action, face it completely without resistance.

  2. Great explanation! I am a Pain Psychologist and we are just now training our physicians about Mindfulness (with and without meditation). Love the practicality of your message–Mindfully done (no pun intended).  =)

I also feel I am more nicer not as angry.I wanted to learn more about it and I am serious on making meditation a habit and in my life. thank you for sharing this superpower.

  5. Intelligent, insightful, and to the point. If we add one more thing to our practice-intention-we can make real changes in our world. To begin with the intention of kindness toward all, epsecially ourselves, we prime the pump for a more benevolent society to emerge.
