In this video we will see What is Programming Language.
at first programming word is made with word program which means a set of instruction to complete a specific task and programming means the process of writing the program in computer or IDE, and language means a software or a system that consists of the development, acquisition, maintenance and use of complex systems of communication, particularly the human ability to do so; and a language is any specific example of such a system.

A programming language is a formal language that specifies a set of instructions that can be used to produce various kinds of output. Programming languages generally consist of instructions for a computer.

It means a language which can understand by the computer is known as programming language.

Programming language is basically categories into two category-
1. Low Level Language (LLL)
2. High Level Language (HLL)
again LLL is categories into two basic category-
1. Machine Level Language (0,1) binary language
2. Assembly Level Language (Mnemonics)
In Machine level language only machine code i.e 0 and 1 is used and it is very difficult to understand for the user but its easy to understand for the machine.
In Mnemonics shortcuts are use like ADD for addition SUB for subtraction.

High level language is just like English language and its very easy to use rather machine code.
HLL such as C,C++, JAVA, PYTHON, .NET etc.

Because a machine can understand only binary language (0,1) so a machine translate with the help of compiler or interpreter HLL to LLL. Compiler or Interpreter is nothing but an application software which converts source code into machine code.
