It's unfortunate there was no actual video. I love to see what I'm hearing. : )
Thanks greatly for the upload!
Fantastic audio quality.
I think this guy has a lot of time in his hand and like a clever intellectual has find some thing new to analyse and make living. What he is talking about has no affect on human condition even he is 100% correct he has no solution to human ignorance, conflict, or his suffering. I guaranty you that he thinks he is a great thinker because he has this ability to analyse, if analysis was helpful for human condition we would be civilized by now. He is using his computer to explain the computer.
Where's the video? As the introducer says, this was webcast – and I was at this lecture so I can confirm there were cameras with operators (and screens in the hall too i think)
Surely they recorded as well as broadcasting?

Don't disagree with you but I wonder what you mean by "philosophical discovery"? As far as I can tell, philosophers don't really contribute to discovery.
Information is the problem If you think by accumulating information you will understand yourself which is the sours of all human problems you are in illusion. I am sorry that you are missing the point, you are the computer to understand your computer you can not do it by using same computer when you do that you are strengthen your computer (EGO), therefor you are increasing your ignorance, sorry. If you are serious dump all your attachments specially to your opinions then see what happens.
