WoW so amazing, well done, you make it look easy!
I love this painting !
And I also like to paint, but it seemed as though that my weak attributes is mixing colors to achieve the proper realistic tone. I would love to try oil painting sometime soon.
Thank you for showing the tricks for fur painting !
Thank you, Andrew, for posting this wonderful video. SO helpful, and charming. Dianne, Colorado Springs.
Love this one the interaction with the pets was fun. Put the picture down where the dogs can see themselves and see if the bark at it. The last dog I did for a friend had my dog barking at the painting. I got it on video. What gel did you use? Wish I had a list of the paint for all four things the pets and the background. Awesome!
Your little white one looks like my Westy. Ah, he left, passed from cancer. I will be inspired to paint Louie now. Thanks Andrew.
WHAT IS THE name of the brush you use?
I love your pet friends. a wonderful painting.
Love this tutorial and such a beautiful painting. How do you go about choosing a background colour you make it look so simple and effective but I really struggle with this. Thanks for shaing your talent.
I recall seeing in the Louvre several paintings in which the artist had double loaded his brush and with a few flicks of it created a small black and white toy dog in the lower right corner. I assumed it was his patron’s pooch. I admired the cleverness because it wasn’t something he’d fussed over.
So helpful…I’m working on my 7th dog portrait and I love working the fur. Thank you.
Do you have any videos on painting chubby happy babies mine all turn into creepy happy adults. How do I keep them young or why am I always aging could it be not enough blending and not stopping . Brush over kill.
Horses
What fur
Wow!!! Thank you!….you make it look SO easy.
Thank you so much, this video has made me so much more confident in my painting and I feel like I could really do this. You are a wonderful instructor!!!
I love your cat 🥺💗
Is your beautiful cat an Abyssinian? I used to have one who was very intelligent, and yes somehow always managed to be right in the way 🙂
Absolutely stunning! 6 hours, it would take me 6 weeks, at least !!!!!!!!!!! Thank you that was just amazing, I have now watched it 4 times, and am going to be brave and find a larger brush. I paint animals in pastels, which takes a lot of time with pencils. Also for some reason, I just cannot work from photos just memory or from life.
One day when trying to throw out old paints, I might have . I did a picture of a lake in autumn. My very first landscape with a strange selection of paints. I was quite chuffed that it had worked out so well till my 40-year-old son said 'Mother you forgot the reflection of the trees' 🙂 I wished I had more time in the day for art, and watching your videos. I subscribed some time ago pressed the bel thing, but still not a clue as to when a new video crops up.
VERY NICE
