Introducing the intelligent Bluetooth Blu-Bot from Silverlit, an interactive robot with multiple functions and features, that may be operated with or without an App. Download the Blu-Bot App free of charge from the App Store for iOS devices, or from the Google Play Store for Android systems, and use a Smartphone or Tablet as your remote control.
Even without the App, you can still experience awesome interaction with the innovative Blu-Bot using the standalone play mode, incorporating pre-programmed steps for moonwalk style movement to music, plus different facial expressions when the robot dances. The brilliant Blu-Bot has a moveable head that nods and turns left or right, motorised legs, adjustable arms and fingers designed to hold simple objects. Easily programmable movements allow the robot to proceed forwards and backwards, whilst turning in either direction as desired. A built in infrared motion detection sensor provides a guard feature with an audible warning, and enables the Blu-bot to detect companions, obstacles and other robots.
Bluetooth operation using a Smartphone or Tablet to control the Blu-Bot remotely, additionally allows gesture control by simply touching the screen, to activate pre-programmed real time movements from the dedicated App. Music streaming is available from the device direct to the Blu-Bot via the App to accompany the movements, with a clever voice changing facility provided for extra fun. A special spy function allows recording and playing messages, plus the robot is able to communicate with another Blu-Bot, and transmit its voice to a smart device. Ten Blu-Bot’s can be operated at the same time, with a range of up to eight metres.
Remarkably robust made of tough injection moulded plastic, Silverlit’s sensational Blu-Bot has a height of twenty four centimetres, and is supplied in an attractive printed carton, that’s perfect for both display and storage. The robot incorporates a powerful 500mAh lithium polymer battery that will provide approximately 30 minutes play time, with a useful low battery power indicator, whilst conveniently recharging via a USB lead in around an hour. A USB cable is supplied to connect the Blu-Bot to a computer socket, or similar outlet for charging.
The Blu-Bot requires an iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad or compatible Android Smartphone or Tablet for Bluetooth operation (not included).
