  1. Does anyone else dislike the fact that the video tells you how you “will” feel. Cos as soon as I heard that my mind said “no you won’t” then I started thinking about the thing I’m anxious about happening soon. I feel calmer but ultimately still feel scared because the thoughts still came up. Idk maybe meditation doesn’t work for me.

  2. This one helped me a lot. Near the end I felt myself finally let go and I felt like I was floating. I felt something rush over me into me and felt at peace. I felt like I was beginning to become unconscious and free completely from my thoughts. Mantras did wonders thank u

  3. I just can't do these. My breath irritates my airways, my adhd gets bored, the narrators voice is annoying etc. I'd like to but it never works

  4. Telling a constricted (stressed) person to take a deep breath invites them to realize just how tight everything is inside.
For some people that may be okay, but for others  (like me!)  it can feel terrifying. It can feel claustrophobic, suffocating, and absolutely triggering. Deep breaths are a goal for folks like us  —  not the starting place.

The good news is that there are countless alternatives to get grounded, present, and mindful of the body that don't involve the breath. Here are a few to get you started:
    1. Focus on a part of the body that feels neutral.
    2. Name five things.
    3. Listen to sounds near and far.
    4. Follow the breath rather than trying to control it.

yes, after years of diaphragmatic breathing, I can take a deep breath without panicking. But it took work.

  5. I love all your meditations. They are the most relaxing ones I’ve found. I suffer badly from GAD and health anxiety and you help calm me. Maybe you could do one on health anxiety! Thank you so much. My bp is always so much lower after listening. Thank you so much. God bless.

  8. Thank you very much for this meditation. I don’t come across meditations very much anymore, but I was in a time of need today and this helped me very much, as have your other meditations. I cannot thank you enough for making these.
