Walker is one of the newest robots from UBTECH Robotics. Below is just a few of the features and technologies used in its development.
1.Flexible walking on complex terrain: With gait planning and control, Walker can achieve stable walking on different surfaces including carpet, floor, marble, and more. Walker can also adapt to complex environments such as obstacles, slopes, steps, and uneven ground.
2.Self-balancing: When Walker is disturbed by external impact or inertia, it can automatically adjust its center of gravity to maintain balance.
3.Hand-eye coordination: Walker’s hands offer seven degrees of freedom to flexibly manipulate objects. By combining its hands with its own perception, Walker can also position dynamic external objects while adapting to uncertain conditions in real-time.
4.U-SLAM navigation and obstacle avoidance: UBTECH Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (U-SLAM) uses environmental information to avoid obstacles and determine Walker’s best path through a dynamic environment.
5.Face and object recognition: Walker has powerful machine vision capabilities to detect and recognize corresponding faces and objects in complex background environments.
6.Smart home control: Walker can help users control common household equipment such as lighting, electrical appliances and electrical sockets, enhancing safety, convenience, and comfort.

ksadf You need to make Kiosks for Humanoid Robots. Which is a better business than only Home Humanoid Robots. People come at the Kiosk of each apartment complex and pay there for services. For Example picking up the garbage that dirty people throw on the floor every day, delivering mails at the Apartment Complex, making security tours around the neighborhood because many places do not have security cams, for sending him to buy groceries at the Supermarket (for old people). Which means inside the Kiosk it needs to have a Special Segway where it can climb. Then people pay per month 5, 15, 20 or more Dollars for the services that the robot will give. The Smart Kiosk has a panel outside where people can let messages (Papers) for free; in one side. And at the other side it can have a Publicity Electronic Panel like on the stops for buses (for announcing). All those services outside the houses will low the cost of the Robots that at the end can give services inside the houses. Services outside the houses are cheaper than services inside the House. Because it is not cheap to buy a Humanoid Robot at least you mass produce them. If many people pay for small services outside the houses then you have much more useful Humanoid Robots that at the end come inside the houses for more complex activities. But you need to have the Special Kiosk. Put a Solar Panel on the Roof and a little wind turbine. Then you just install the Kiosk with no need of cables. Put a basket on the Segway. That will help the robot with the packages. All people will be able to rent the services of the robot by paying directly at the Kiosk or by Internet. For Example. There is a problem with a Read-light on the street that doesnt work. Then the police or the technicians can rent the robot for controlling the traffic. By doing that; the demand of services the robot can give will increase and at the same time it will help you for improving the body of the robot. Which has some limitations for the moment. But it is a very good beginning, congratulations !! Also make a Special Helmet for the robot with an automatic pepper spray. That is against vandalism or people attacking robots. You can sell at the Kiosk the tablets and computers for the robot previous online paying (and then it delivers at your house or give it from a whole besides the Kiosk who takes pictures of the Customers; for avoiding vandalism or people trying to steal inside the Kiosk). I was one of the early backers of Alpha 2 before all the mess and didn't get a robot! I'm talking to you Andy! This would be the best thing to replace the robot shaped hole in my life. Alphas whole purpose was to be a service robot for drinks and a children's entertainer. There was a relationship potentially lost over the Joy lost from a child when they did not receive their robot. This could give me a whole new lease on life. How can i get one and how much does it cost?

I saw another video of Walker speaking and I wish his voice wasn't so deep and slow, I've seen other robots that have warmer, more natural voices and had more fun personalities. Hopefully we will get that!
This robot in it current stage, could work at a lemonade stand replacing children. It could stand guard in from of Buckingham Palace. It could stand guard just about anywhere you need to put a guard, where you don't expect a real robbery. It could replace the sign-spinner jobs on street corners. It could sell umbrellas on street corners. It could sherpa your ice-chest at the picnic. But more importantly, we need to send it to The Moon, to be the first walking-robot on The Moon.

There is just a difference between Walker and Asimo.Asimo can run but Walker can't.Rest of the things are almost same.In price range if Asimo release again only a billionaire can buy it for$ 2.5 million
