Theology Unleashed
This is my interview with Akhandadi Das, the mind behind Atma Paradigm. He has been doing detailed philosophical work presenting a model of reality based on science and the metaphyics of the Vedas.
“The Atma Paradigm is a science-consistent philosophical framework offering a comprehensive explanation of our existence in the cosmos. It resolves many current quandaries and incongruities of both science and philosophy by postulating that consciousness is a fundamental property of reality. It is not reducible to the other currently known properties of physics. Although this is not a revolutionary idea in itself, the Atma Paradigm offers, for the first time, a detailed model of the mechanism by which consciousness as a primary property interacts with our brains and the rest of the physical world. And, it offers clear justification and empirical evidence to support such an hypothesis.”

Is Akhandadi das an ISKCON devotee?
Your debate review recommendations are as bad as your arguments for the existence of your god..
Not surprised.. just, disappointed.
Truth is not important? Science is the investigation of reality, and they don't always get it right. You first need evidence before you can investigate it. Science does not make any declaration about the nature of universe….. it only investigates it. If what you are talking about, is undetectable, then it is a just a ghost story. The fact that we can not explain every function of the brain doesn't mean that some ghost(s) exists…. and assuming that any fundamental source exists, is just another assumption of the existence of your ghost.
If the brain is a tap filtering consciousness is there any reasoning to conclude that the soul is an individual? Individuality is experienced via the tap but consciousness originates from a pool. How to reconcile via logic? HK 🙏

Hare Krishna Arjuna Prabhu, wishing well from Mayapur Dham, thank you so much for this service an initiative. Is very inspiring to see the devotees starting to get experience on debate. They will surely get better and better at refuting atheistic ideas. We think is just a matter of practice and time.
Hare Krishna 🌷
I saw his Ted talk years ago, can’t wait to check this out.
It would be really nice to see Akhandadi debate some of these atheists.. I really like the fact that he explains you can't prove physicalism or creationism by philosophical arguments and that he brings everything back to consciousness.
None of the atheists can actually give any plausible explanations based on any good evidence or even on the basis of sound simple logic that consciousness comes from matter.
My only personal problem is that because I'm not so intelligent it can be easy to be bewildered by word juggling and complex nueroscientific terminology that some of the more intelligent atheists hide behind as a smokescreen to cover up the fact that they're deliberately overlooking the importance of questioning consciousness. However Akhandadi has the actual understanding of science to dismantle these peoples arguments and bring them back to the basic point of consciousness, which they seem to deliberately refuse to address.
I like what your trying to do with this channel Arjuna. Your very intelligent, and I have no doubt in the long run this channel will be a great success, showcasing Krsna Consciousness to be something meant for intelligent and reasonable people. My only issue is that there are only a few devotees on the planet, expert enough in debate to defeat these top atheist debaters, so it might be good to be cautious as to who you allow to present our philosophy in public.
I've seen how Devamrita Swami Sivarama Swami and Prabhupada actually fight atheistic arguments, quiet aggressively attacking the glaring weaknesses when challenged by atheists, instead of having nice civilised discussions with them. This leads me to beleive that you have to fight fire with fire and that the firefighters need to also know what their talking about…
It was quiet painful to watch Hridayananda Goswami get bullied the other day…. as a practicing devotee I understand that he's an extremely intelligent person and one of the most spiritualy developed people on the planet, but if I was watching that debate from a nuetral point of view I would have gotten the idea that Krsna Consciousness devotees were just nice sort of philosophical people, but who were unable to stand up for themselves against hardcore atheists. As for the last debate I didn't watch it, but based on what I was told happened, it would probably just be painful to watch…
I don't know if what I'm saying is reasonable but these were just a few thoughts I had based on what I've seen over the last few weeks, please forgive me if I'm being offensive iin what I'm getting across. Maybe I'm just a religious fanatic but I really want to see an Uttama Adhikari rip into these atheists ideas and wipe the floor with every single one of them. 🙂
We can't find consciousness in the brain so it must not exist! 😅🙏
Really nice talk. I appreciated it a lot. Great topics and Akandadhi Prabhu clearly has much experience on these topics and went through them in depth. I am sure some of topics could have more detailed discussions.
The nature of mind, information started to get discussed at the end which was interesting. I am very interested in shabda and if that is information. It is defined 3.26.33 as the "the shelter of the meaning" or "that which conveys the idea of an object". And shabda is in all material elements. So how does that relate to information which some scientists say is part of objective reality?
Thanks for hosting this!
Interesting. I’ll check this out sometime this weekend.
Bravo. Amazing breakdown of the major hurdle of consciousness for the physicalist world-view.
