So, the conclusion is: Tao (God per se) is the truth (the fundamental) of everything for reality. Well, that has been said long time ago, long before we have the computer icons and interfaces.
Using a math model to represent Tao is nothing but a vivid imagination (to get people’s attention).
A reverse engineering can only find a tiny branch of the Tao’s Tree, like physics + biology + cognitive science have been doing.
Therefore, why not get a book of Tao by Wayne Dye. Otherwise will only make your mind more confused.
Btw, Curiosity and Imagination are two of many mental abilities. Consciousness is nothing but an integration of mental abilities, no mystery about it. Thus, understand the mind is the first (fundamental) thing to do for exploring all of the mental abilities, such as Observation, Comprehension and etc.
What is the Mind? How does Mind produce mental abilities? I will tell you later when the fate is blessing.

Thank you! You covered such a broad and important spectrum of his model (I listen to all his talks, and stuff was put together here that I've hoped to understand better). AI is probably particulary time-sensitive significant. One thing he hasn't brought up is the dilema of humans already being an expression of unconcious robotic "circuitry". In that mode it was inevitable humanity was (unconcsiously) driven to manipute matter, to the extent that it wanted to "reproduce" itself in a better way. The "better" only comes from the unease of not accepting being conscious already (peace, love … presence). And to expect it to be solved by the unconsciousness of this unease furthering itself as ever more material "fixes" for it, is ever propogating that disease of a matter (non) solution. So Donald's reversal of starting with consciousness might be the grace interface that saves the human race portal into consciousness! The non humility of not recognizing that's all we are, already an "AI" portal of consciousness, has been a Frankenstein train aimed at us since we objectified ourselves (or "subjected" ourselves/consciousness to our own space/time creation, lol). Accepting that it doesn't matter first and foremost (taking ourselves "literally", lol, has prevented us from treating our icons "seriously",sanely, lovingly) IS the manufacturing of its own doom. Then from that immediately availabe relief and even humor at the "inside" joke, THAT non-fix consciousness can art-istrating some beautiful new expressions. Like Donald Hoffman and you and this interview! Thanks again.
