Hope she has bail money. That's several thousand dollars worth of frustration. In most places, a felony. Oops!
Better than the original.
This song seemed to channel Dixie Chicks more than vintage country, but it was still good.

By dang, this is the way it shoulda been done in the first place!
There are a number of arguments about whether it's Country, whether it's vintage, etc. Does it really matter? People get too hung up on labels and genres. Scott hasna transformed the song in the way he usually does, but this is basically Kitty Hawk, and this is what they do. It's pretty good music, whatever label you put on it. Maybe you prefer Carrie Underwood, but this is still good.
However, it would be interesting to see Scott do one of his transmogrification jobs on the song. Perhaps he just fancied playing piano in this genre for something different for himself. Or maybe he thought Kitty hawk couldna do with a Jazz version.
Ok – I LOVE Carrie Underwood and will ALWAYS love her version of the song, so thank you PMJ for giving me two equally enjoyable versions of the same song!
I think if the piano wasn't there, the bass more prominent and the song slowed down it would be more classic. I like it better than the original though.
Have Annie Bosco and Krysral Ball ever been seen in the same place at the same time?
The Dixie Chicks already did this sound, and did it better. But this is good.
