What is the ultimate nature of reality? Is it physical, mental, or something else? In this video I review a theory by Philosopher Bernardo Kastrup that says that everything is mental.

The Boiling Pot is a great way too look at it, id always thought of it as your essence or being as a droplet of water. Once the ego is lost we are returned to the ocean of global consciousness, a droplet in a body of water disolves, merges and becomes one.
Only problem with this metaphor, in the case of pyschedlics, is how does one return from the ocean once the ego is regained. Is it like time is reversed or the exact locations of the disolved droplet is located and pulled out? Also this implies our essecne/ souls are all made the same, so how would this explain out of body experiences, DMT, astral projection…
imho a modern monistic Idealism such as "BK's alters" or even "Campbell's VR's" is exactly what currently seems to connect the most dots & by far.
This video is very high quality. The boiling pot metaphor is brilliant. Also "intellectual spiritually" is a fanatic word to describe non-dual and enlightenment work.
Great video! The visual representation of M@L as boiling water is a really good idea!
