Ok you kind of explained some equations that are coincidentally correct but do not give the reasons for this. How did you come to choose such thought experiment so we can understand the intuitive sense of meaning of this lecture.

During the collision factor, why don't we take the energy transferred from the electron to the photon too?
Why do we only take the transfer of energy from the photon to the electron ?
