GPT-2, the Language model that shocked the world with its entirely fictitious story about the unicorns inhabiting a secret South American valley. Rob Miles explains

The first practical use of this network I could think of was fake product descriptions or reviews. Second thing, election influence via social media.
I really wish I am wrong.
Please link the 'previous video', its hard to follow this.
Winds of Winter shall by written by George R R Martin this way so as far as we know GPT-2 is what's bringing the Winter: Winter is coming!
Can anyone maybe point me in the right direction for when i'm looking at ways to generate text based on input? I want to look for a way to give AI several keywords to make a story with. Does such a thing exist?
That is an insane writing ai, if we just looked at that first part it really looks human.
This would actually be enough to fool most high school and college teachers, not gonna lie.
Well, the lazy ones, at least.
Is it really hard to add the link of the previous video to the description?!! >disappointment!<
I wonder if it could continue "Can it run crisis?"
Understanding…"understanding"…
Can GPT-2 generate text about GPT-2, the Language model?
"While their origins are still unclear, some believe that perhaps the creatures were created when a human and a unicorn met each other in a time before human civilization. According to Pérez, 'In South America, such incidents seem to be quite common.'"
40gb of text as data is just insane
Gee! What is the probability of news agencies already using this text generator? I'd guess it's pretty high.
They primed for the unicorn story.
Open AI released GPT-3, a 175B parameter model recently. They have some example in their github repo. Any chance of a new video on GPT-3?
I wonder what this would do if you also fed it in the entirety of the My Little Pony Fanfiction site and gave it this prompt
The really impressive thing is how it managed to create something based on a synthesis of two different groupings of information. Stories about unicorns exist, as do news articles about scientific discoveries, but with the exception of thinking that they might have multiple horns GPT-2 managed to make a mostly plausible piece of text which is a news article about the discovery of unicorns.
This definitely sounds like a reddit post… That snazzy informative style of writing
add to this the "1% rule (Internet culture)" and we're actually the neural net being trained
What if the we run the fake news detection model on the news generated by this model…it will be a real fight😂😂😂
so this was when jurnalists got replaced by code.
Toss project gutenberg in there for a start…
This is frightening, Jorge Pérez is the name of one of my computer science professor at my university. He specializes in deep learning and AI.
omg hes so cute, I love nerdy guys. I bet he talks like this all the time and no one knows what he's talking about but I do.
Fake news companies must have been using these AIs to generate their articles for years & just never shared them with anyone.
Talking about Unicorns openly. Yet it becomes unhinged once aliens are thrown into the mix.
And now we have GPT-3, which makes GPT-2 look tiny by comparison.
The unicorns are the best and the most addictive game I have ever had I would love to see it and more people to play it more than the other game I have ever had and I have a few more people to play with and I have a few more people to play with and I have a few more people to play with.
People: programming must be so dangerous, you might be arrested for hackering Nasa…

Well now GPT 3 is released and I'm watching this video again
I wanna read the rest of the article, does anyone have a link to it ?
so this is how they write all the clickbait news on the web!
This guys voice is addictive
Intelligence seems nothing more than an emergent property of extreme data processing.
I clicked on this video because I understood the title
"they went to reddit"
OH NO
