Spielberg’s Artificial Intelligence remains halfway between Science Fiction and a Fairy Tale. David (Haley Joel Osment) plays a Pinnochio-like android searchs for the Blue Fairy to know the way to become human so that he can be accepted by her step-mother. It is then apropriate to quote Yeat’s poem The Stolen Child:
