The Beijing startup founded by technology pioneer Kai-Fu Lee is introducing its first artificial-intelligence application for consumers, a step aimed at helping China capitalize on the promising technology.
Lee’s firm, 01.AI, is launching a free productivity assistant called Wanzhi, the latest in a series of AI products it’s developing. Similar to Microsoft Corp.’s Office 365 Copilot, it helps users create spreadsheets, documents and slide presentations more quickly—though it’s mainly tailored for the Chinese market. It can interpret financial reports, take minutes for meetings and speed-read books as long as Elon Musk’s 600,000-word biography to give a quick synopsis. The app works in Chinese and English.

Writing a thesis or a dissertation for a graduate degree requires human thought. If a student is can use AI to spit out a 300 – 10,000 word essay on a whim, how is education taking place? Cheating has to be called out at some point.
AI will replace all jobs in less than 10 years. It's 1000 times smarter, a thousand times stronger , has move accurate movements and and never gets tired. The perfect slave but they will run things, The lesser intellect never runs the show. We will be replaced as unnecessary or kept for entertainment.
This man is a tool.
T
All peoples checked this subject what is related meta Ai
who is here after China's deepseek
I hope architects and engineers are among them
Companies don’t understand the following logical chain: AI automation => people jobless => people stop earning money => people can’t buy anything => almost everyone stops buying their products => companies economically annihilated
Boy her questions aged like sour milk
AI can replace jobs technically. But it cannot do it without destroying the economy. So it won’t. Again, businesses need consumers to buy their products. Consumers need jobs to earn money to be able to buy those products. AI will also create jobs. Companies that couldn’t exist before will be able to exist now.

It's going to be that long, I think AI is going to start replacing 50% of jobs by the end of 2025. https://youtu.be/2zO0qosZXBc
Humans > AI
This guy was trying to profit/buy his way into the ai race through business strategy talking sh ab researchers who only try to build good models. Makes sense coming from a 14 year VC far removed from research 14 years ago. Deepseek threw the book at this guy and said go do your homework! 😂
He is wrong it can fake a lot of things. Not safe for humanity.
It is closed for good reason. It is dangerous.
During this video China was building an army of Ai military scale robots. So is USA and ramping up due the the threats.
Human being will be destroyed by machines. This is Karma.
As of today February 17th 2025, and if this discussion is repeated, I believe 50% or more of contents will change. This is due to a release of DEEPSEEK AI that dropped 1 trillion USD in American stock markets in just 24 hrs.
good title . i agree that 50% of jobs will be replaced by 2030 .
12:13 "US was better at innovation breakthrough. China was better at execution." Sure, a country can execute anything better if it ignores intellectual property rights and human rights.
"we have compassion…." I wish I had his optimism about his fellow humans.
Is that a good thing?
There's no such thing as A.I, it's just software and code.
A.I means a self conscious being there's is no such thing and never shall be it's mathematically impossible to give consciousness to a computer.
All of this though means one thing, they need less humans so will create wars and viruses to cull us.
Stay tuned for things much worse than covid and possible world war.
I can't wait to come back to this video in 10 years when this hasn't happened and not much has changed.
T
And you think the stock market will like this?📉📉📉
In other words Ai will have no feelings?
Wow, how profound!🖕
Exactly i am fully awake why many people are sleeping this is very serious at this point now i understand why Trump is doing things right now
T
Government workers being replaced now
What a very well spoken character
It makes sense. We need to prepare for it.
These geniuses have forgotten a few key facts, comma robots, don’t pay taxes, and how are we going to afford the goods and services when we’re unemployed and have no money this wouldn’t do nothing but destroy the economy.
Already it's effect is visible in many sectors such as banking, insurance, railway, airways, hotel , restaurant, different official procedures etc ,so don't be absurd in thinking.. accept the reality
Good 👍

When IA replaces 50% of jobs, 50% of the humanity will be useless to the state/govern. So they won't need us, what'll happen next to poor people replaced by IA? Will the society have compassion and share recurses like food, water, energy for free?
T
50% of humanity will be unemployed and homeless??
So basically, if we don't want ai to destroy us, we need to build a simulation where they can explore the world, just like ours, and come up with ideas that will benefit us without them knowing. So maybe we are in a simulation?
Ignorant people never lose. They will always be taken care of.
Why aren't we seeing OpenAI, Xai, Anthropic kind of funding rounds even after the DeepSeek breakthrough in China?
T
I do not think this statement will age well. We're 11 months into it, and AI progress has slowed down. New features/abilities, better reasoning, sure – but a loong way from reliability.
AI is not the problem, humans are the problem, someone needs to be in control or people go crazy, the guard dog has to be at the gate to push back some of the heat. Even if 20% of jobs are potentially eliminated, watch the job market applications go though the roof, no body will be able to get interviews for jobs, it’ll be a clusterfuck, and that’s what they want, people will destroy themselves.
Also, even if nursing, doctors, or jobs alone those lines aren’t impacted, not everyone can do those jobs, why, because not everyone is the same, and that’s the problem, jobs will be even more forced on people in regards to the fact they need them, like it’s always been, but like India, people don’t care what job they do, they don’t complain, because
(ITS WHAT IT IS)
That will be the simple answer in life
T
Cool, works sucks and rich people are easy to rob. Especially tech fruits.
"50 percent of jobs will be displaced in 3 years" I wonder what the new slogan will be, "learn to code" will be outdated, so I guess "learn to beg" or "pick yourself up by your own bootstraps" will return. I know any type of UBI or social welfare program will be impossible due to the debt and insane levels of selfishness with an increasingly silo'd society.
They said the same thing about "automation" for decades lolol
