Dr. Goswami is a theoretical nuclear physicist and professor emeritus of physics at the University of Oregon, where he taught for 30 years. He was featured in the hit movie What the Bleep Do We Know? and in Who’s Driving the Dream Bus? He is the author of many books, including The Self-Aware Universe, and is considered the founder of the new paradigm of science called science within consciousness.

I generally agree with what Amit Goswami is saying except that it is desire not purpose that is the directional force and is what essentially creates the physical world. Finding purpose is just another desire.
I think William Blake also said energy is eternal light.
William Blake said when the doors of perception are cleansed, man will see things as they truly are, infinite.
The fact that Love does not require atonement completely nullifies the cross. This is much bigger that that silliness.
Humans are a product of evolution. So is "God."
Truth is, we are one in the same, the realization of which is our future evolution.
If consciousness creates reality then god would be a humans creation.

Not seeking to anger anyone, nor trigger cascades of religious furor. Just thinking. Consider:
Much in Bible, is sound information. It took thousands of years to scientifically explain some of it…such as food laws, wearing apparel, etc. [many rules people stopped following long ago, because they couldn't understand the reason for them].
Also, much in religious books, perpetrates the mystification of ideas; this lends to controlling populations more easily/political maneuvers…many of those were later additions or corruptions…are those also, from God?
Jesus taught in parables. The stories described stuff in terms which fairly uneducated minds could process them.
Also, that "whenever two or more are gathered in my name, ….". Compare telling simplistic explanatory stories, with a parent trying to explain complicated ideas in answer to their 3 y.o.'s questions…making their answers simple enough for their child to grasp.
And, there are known instances, objectively observed, of distance healing, and, people gathered to "pray" or meditate, in concert with others, getting decent to amazing results to their concerted focus sessions.
What if Jesus saying, "you cannot come to the father but by me", had to do with coming to the realization of how things work, re: quantum physics? How might Quantum Physics terms match that statement?

In my opinion it means that to answer to the question
‘ where the consciousness come from?’
we must understand not only the brain but electron too.
Once again.
Human brain works on two levels:
consciousness and subconsciousness. The neurons of brain
create these two levels. So, that it means consciousness and
subconsciousness from physical point of view ( interaction
between billions and billions neurons ). It can only mean
that the state of neurons in these two situations is different.
How can we understand these different states of neurons?
How does the brain generate consciousness?
We can understand this situation only on the quantum level,
only using Quantum theory. But there isn’t QT without
Quantum of Light and Electron. So, what is interaction between
Quantum of Light, Electron and brain ?

If the atom contains more than one electron
(for example – two), this atom represents " Siamese twins".
Save us, the Great God, of having such atoms, such cells.

On Schrodinger's cat- an imaginary life and mind, but a real cat
The cat illustrates the link between quantum (subjective, imaginary axis) and particle (objective, real axis) physics
The link is Schoedinger's equation (eqn (1) below). The i axis is the quantum or mental axis. Without this, there is no life. The real axis is that of the quantum's corresponding particle, the real body and brain of the cat.
Eqn (1) below is the link between quantum (mental) mechanics and real world physics (real axis). It also represents a Leibniz monad.
Leibniz's monad is the simplest possible entity, a substance without parts. In other words, a quantum. It is not the same as the term "monad" commonly used in mathematics. But although it is without parts, it is one aspect of a philosophical monistic dualism, the other aspect being a particle.
The basic assumption in this exploratory essay is that quanta are mental entities existing in imaginary space and time and
particles are real entities in real space and time. This is so if we accept Leibniz's universe as a dual-aspect monism.
Each real particle, if we use Leibniz's concept of the monad,has a corresponding quantum, orthogonal to the place and time
because imaginary not real) of the real component, but in itself not belonging to spacetime.
Consider Schrodinger's equation with Mind as a scalar quantum wave (the left hand side of the equation) , which is the equation for Leibniz's monad :

Here we have a particle acting in an electric field where dpsi(r,t)/dt acts as the differential slope of the mathematical
psi wave, and the Hamiltonian H is a real function containing a space-time gradient of psi and a potential energy.
What this says is that properties of the quantum are defined by the nature of real scalar psi (r,t).
Considera timeless holographic quantum pool table where the there is perhaps an additional
equation something like

where the imaginary component disappears if prob(r,t) = 1 and r,t is the position of a hole deterministically located
(at fractal positions) to ensure a pre-established harmony. When the quantum drops through a hole it is no long purely
mental but part of the brain. Due to feedback from the brain, the equation for the particle quntum, like Schroedinger's cat,
will contain mixed real and imaginary components. And so on.

Idealist philosophers have clearly shown that there is no reason to default to the idea that consciousness is a function of the brain. Our experience of the world around us can be explained in it's entirety without stepping outside of mind.

The main theme in buddhism is investigate it and and understand with your own mind, Then only practice.
Buddhism says, the smallest thing that the universe is made is every where. Any astronomical body, as well as well as the human body is made up of that smallest unit which has an extremely and extremely short t life time. It is born and destroyed billion times makes every thing in this universe and that unit's motion creates the consciousness and it is moving always. So, the consciousness is a universal phenomenon. Buddhism explains the properties of that smallest unit too.
Amrit Goswami is wrong and/or confused depending on what he exactly says. Because, he is dithering when he says it is not an essentially a creator god instead it is quantum consciounsess.

what good fun! the mere fact that I, you, we chose this video is self determinate sharing peices of common consciousness. ..we all share a universal reality in perception and perhaps the non local consciousness even without meditation..even the Dalai Lama aligns with this thinking.
The relationship between god and quantum physics is actually pretty clear.in quantum physics we are explained that our existence isn't possible without the existence of a concious mind, so basically and simply , god is that mind
