Thats not an AI thats my mother playing
How was the AI interfaced to the game? Did you use or midify the mario souce code?
You are, by far, the worst Mario player that I have ever seen….and you missed all the secret goodies…..
Why am I getting Ser Winter vibes
Not a great example of ai. Would have been better to start it from scratch and watch it try lvl 1 over and over again. When you play first and it just copies what you do that doesnt seem like ai. If it was intelligent it would learn from your mistakes and not repeat them
Based on the way this game was played, I’m somehow doubting this was an actual AI
Plot twist…theyre both human players
So i know this is an old video, but is nobody going to question that
1) the 'AI' goes down a pipe in 1-2 even though the 'real player' never taught it to do so
2) the 'AI' wastes time looking for the hidden 1-UP in 1-1 even though the 'real player' never taught it hidden blocks exist
Just Sayin'
I thought… damn this AI is damned good at imitating you, even when playing different levels! … "Now the AI"… oh.
Self generation au or human programmed
i have that game. now im going to go play it again lol
Well, the AI didn't die at a Koopa in 1-2 ;D
Imagine what Sophia the robot would be like at Super Mario Bros.
What? This is simply not AI. I say this for two reasons: 1) an AI would have been able to complete the level perfectly and 2) it would have no way of knowing where any secrets were. If this were truly a learning AI, it would have not only learned how to play the game, but it would have avoided the mistakes you made. We use AI because it doesn't make mistakes so… why did it? Secondly, it would have absolutely no way of knowing where the hidden coin blocks were, or where the warp pipes were. In fact, it would have no idea what a warp pipe was, or how to use it.
This is either footage of the creator's friend playing, or a program coded to look like AI.
You know what would be cool. Playing a multiplayer game but player 2 is an AI.
It really wanted those coins
Sounds like megaman
Is it safe to say that this AI learned partially through supervised learning ? It totally mimics your game play…
You claim to suck at Mario, but when I play the original, I always lose to the first goomba.
SOMG AT 1:12???
