    Juste something that i can add for people who wants to be a little more informed (coz yeah the video isn't that long :p ) :

    The cosy look can also come from materials first . Such as wood or fabric on the walls. Having actually some wood countertop over a marble one is always making a kitchen cosy and warm, think about it! <3

     It's fun, so good looking and damn, it's chaging the vibe of a whole space so easily!

    In our interior design shop, actually granite is quite on demands too! Cause supplier are actually making new ones those days with totally different vibes and colors . Sometimes even some sparkles inside, it's actually looking good and classy :p

    Last little tip for your kitchen! If you have a lot of light, don't be afraid to go dark! It's soooo beautiful and you'll not have this feeling of scary space at all <3
    Also, always work with dark units/light worktop or Light units/darker worktop!
    It's always a good combo if you don't know what to do!

26. Yeah we have like 4 task lights in our living room. Getting one central light is probably a great idea.

Learn how to use a paint sprayer and make friends with someone who will loan you the use of their old, empty garage or barn and make friends with someone else who has a pick-up truck and is willing to help you haul furniture. Now go out to thrift shops, garage sales, auctions and dented furniture discount stores and buy enough wooden, particle board or molded plastic pieces of furniture and of the right size to furnish your first apartment, haul it to that garage and then prep and spray paint it all the same color. Use what ever color you like of gloss or semi-gloss enamel or acrylic paint that is designed for wood and plastic. Bright white, basic black, taupe and gray/stone colors are good choices for painted furniture. Or spray one of the pieces of furniture pumpkin orange, turquoise or some other quirky color you like, if it matches with your sofa pillows or drapes. When choosing an expensive sofa, stick with a plain shape and a neutral color of sturdy upholstery so it can weather all sorts of designer trends over the next two decades — and buy the best quality you can afford. If you can afford it, get a sleeper sofa instead of a regular sofa so you can have overnight guests, even if you live in a tiny one bedroom apartment. Improve the looks of a rental apartment the landlord has painted with cheap white paint by hiring professionals to paint the largest wall in the living area and in your bedroom with a color you like. As long as you re-paint those walls white when you are moving out, you will not lose your deposit.
