If you do have to choose, it's more illustrative to focus the camera on the slides, rather than the speaker. Just a suggestion.
A great example of the lure of a model because of the beauty of its conceptual simplicity, while having the potential for a profound transformation of the human conception of the self. It's a shame how so many people would think of such realizations as erasing the "magic" of being human via reductionism, but such insight can only remove a blinding veil and allow us to reach places our species couldn't reach before through self-mastery, and it's amazing to think of a machine like the brain coming to represent its own functioning well enough that it can mitigate its fundamental weaknesses.
I'm pretty sure that he is not talking about S.J. Gould around 20' XD
