Does it require a service(cloud) to connect from another network, or can you connect to it direct?? What I mean, I had a Remote security IP Cam, but to connect to it from work, I had to connect to their server to be able to get to my IP Cam. I don't like the idea of going thru someone else's server to get to my devices

Great product while it lasted, but eventually you get the flashing blue light of doom. Replaced several under warrnaty, all three only lasted 3 months then died. Don't waste your money, there's a fatal flaw with the battery and it's onboard circuit board.
How far can it control from? Can control from overseas?
Warning do not buy. This has connection problems all the time. the motion detection doesn't work & the facial detection is worthless
