  1. It's great that YouTube has different Playback Speed settings. Otherwise all the derivative stuff would be insufferable to wade through. It's nice to be able to spend longer time on the really interesting art (slow playback speed and freeze frame for those). The takeaway: there is "ART" and there is art. Quality is always going to be inconsistent.

  4. Really enjoyed this tour. The quality of contemporary art has vastly improved since the farce of the noughties where the top galleries and action houses only sold works by a chosen few artist to restrict supply to inflate prices. Unfortunately for art, the chosen few were not very good, in some cases were laughably terrible.
    A scam that prevented some very talented artist from making a living. If you compare some of the works on display here with some of the works fetching millions of $ during the noughties, the difference in quality is staggering.

  21. If this is representative of the current Art climate, it is pathetic exhibition and just shows how Art has become superficial glossy filled with shallow images with no substance or depth!
    Shame on the current generation of artists for creating visual garbage and the gallery owners for promoting i! We are in deep trouble if this is the direction that Art has taken.i found nothing inspiring or thought provoking in the majority of the works. All the work was shallow, superficial catering to those are visually illiterate and lack taste and any sense of of what good Art is about! There is alot of work that is about effect and a extremely shallow level of thinking! All razzle dazzle meant to wow you and nothing more. Most of the works shown lacked any depth or substance and woe to the buyers that are collecting this shit. This exhibit is all about total mediocrity and nothing more! If this exhibit is about Fine Art it fails miserably and is a statement about Art that lacks soul and reflects how poorly educated and visually illiterate level society in this world has become. The exhibit reflects the low level of thinkng and creating that plagues our world today It is a sad state of affairs and shows how we have regressed aesthetically rather than evolved!

  30. I miss the renaissance in art making .. This stuff being made now days is nothing more than a cluster of junk and leftovers being thrown together by a bunch of people with bad cases of ADHD and no true art skills. But I guess some of it is kinda cool just to walk around and look at. But again where are the true artists in art making ?such as what you can find in say a Vermeer! Contemporary art is the only way to get your fix as an art collector now days because no one can own a Vermeer, and no one can paint one either! Sad.
