  2. Here's something that nobody talks about- our over reliance on tech and electricity. Not even the Carrington magnitude event, just a strong enough solar flare has a capacity of sending us all back in the stone age. It's not the matter of if, but the matter of when. AI will be nothing but a distant memory.

  3. Over-reliance on ANY implement is a form of addiction. And addicts tend to form the traits of Narcissism.

    AI “artificial intelligence” is only as “good” and as “useful” as the operator of the equipment. Not even its designers can claim that it will forever be used for any evident “good” nor for any evident “evil.” Overuse is evildoing in itself. Over-reliance and co-dependencies on anything man-made is sheer folly, in universal terms.

    Without anyone there to actually oversee judicious measures, a person can only “rely on” that which is universally true in order to maintain an internal compass of direction as to True/False, Good/Evil ultimate goals. Whatever facts and principles have been applicable the most reliably over time, since recording of events began.

    According to Universal Law, universal Truth IS that which exists in evident form. AI is already being tested and conscripted in order to practice Deceit. On reasonably epic levels at that. Knowing one’s own sources of Information can be critically determinate as to one’s own “choices” in life.

    Having a calculator can be eviscerating to one’s own understanding of mathematics. BUT in a mathematician’s own hands, it’s unlikely to give him/her a failure of his/her own understanding of its function, nor create a huge gap in the individual’s understanding of mathematic principles.

    AI can be a tool of potentially great good. It can also be a tool for great harm to others. A “good” society is unlikely to permit irresponsible usage. A “rotten” society logically will. A morally-Confused society cannot even decide its optimal uses, and will be the most easily-swayed by its own ego-pursuits, by whomever isn’t Confused, by whomever is flattering, comforting, or somehow “exploitable” to them—depending on Power, on Economic requirements. Unless, they are Confused about those as well.

    Computers have been in circulation since the 1950s. Robotics, since the 1970s. Neither is “new” in that their ideations are very old now. As we have already seen, those social groups who’ve maintained a core of decency USE any form of Technology “decently,” among themselves, for decent purposes.

    But Western capitalism has no such track record whatsoever of so-called decency, nor does it tend to impart decent Values to anyone learning about it for the purposes of establishing “commonwealth” goodness in societies. People of Truth have to read between the lines in order to make their own purposes skewer away from intrinsic Evil toward establishing Good, IF they wish to do so.

    Without Truth, Justice, & Balanced connections between people, between people and creatures, between all creatures and things, it isn’t significant that AI is the combination between robotics + computer sensors in ANY societal usage that comes. Intent matters. Justice matters. Truth matters, worldwide. ⚖️🪷⚖️💴💻⌨️📀⚖️🪷

  6. If you do not regularly engage in communication with your fellow human beings you are not going to develop skills for authentic connections and especially for resolving conflict which is the biggest predictor of relational satisfaction. ❤

  10. Certainly, and per usual, Brother Shahid is brilliant and insightful. However, I was a bit taken aback by the frequent interruptions experienced by the other speaker. Maybe she is interrupting him…thus her position off camera. But, to me a component of what has given way to the progression of AI is impatience w humans and a lack of interest in true engagement. 🙏🏽

  14. This Acting/Pretending behavior is repulsive . People never realized that Being Yourself Developing Yourself could be more interesting than pretending to be a fictional character. That's why I never ever ever talk to people.

  16. The people who depend on AI will turn to violence when it goes down, especially in a nuclear strike. There is no way you can run a proper supply chain with AI, it cannot create without human personal experience abd it is creating for humans, it has no aspirations.

  19. Enhancement and development are two different things. The former is a short term convenience to a subject not developed to be what the enhancement "portrays". The latter, is the build up of a genuine person from the core. Not all will like it. Some may benefit from it, more don't. It's about genuineness. Trustworthy and adaptable to change when put in their exact contexts. To be the Al Amin AS shown. No cheat. No hypocrisy. If it matters, only genuine siasah that is dependable but not reproachable because the build up contexts are truth and realities as they are. The genuine learning process in "development". Need no merit validation for that just workable dependable functions that are trustworthy. AKHLAK!

It's like some people want a glorified machine to do their creative and artistic thinking for them as though the very innate faculty that distinguishes human beings from primal beasts is some kind of time consuming toilsome burden that needs to be outsourced to an abstract mechanism devised by human invention that will somehow simulate the innate passion that has driven human ingenuity for centuries.

It should be called an Intelligence Prosthetic as in being an artificial functionary device for those who are or perceive themselves to be disabled or handicapped in regards to human intelligence capacities, a kind of paraplegia of intellectual function requiring artificial external mechanized support.

  26. You can only produce so many goods or services. For who? There are too many people, and GNP can only grow to a certain point. The Debt based economy is at its end. The reset will be natures way of depopulation. Just like animals and their ecosystems regulates their numbers. 😊

  27. im 35, havent owned a tv or done social media in 15 years. i work in the industrial chemical sector. we're already a people that cant do anything… the new hires we get only know how to spend money. the "solution" to EVERYTHING is "just order a new one". i try and try to tell them that ordering a new $12k valve is stupid because the packing is leaking through, and all you need is new packing and to tighten the valve stem, but nope they just order a new one. then they lay people off because "we're not profitable". no shit youre not profitable you dont fix or maintain anything in the plant because no-one knows how…. everything is run to failure, which is now become a countrywide mantra…. it's insane.

  28. Taxi drivers back in the days Used to use a book of maps called Thomas guide, they developed skills on how to find places without help. Uber drivers rely on GPS and without they simply can’t function 😊
